"Tender" is an album created using a different approach than my previous works, such as "Dusk to Dawn", "Sui" and "Kotoba". It was created by endlessly carving up various samples, reconstructing them, and reducing the number of sounds as much as possible.

From the finished songs, I felt a tenderness that I had never experienced before. I hope this soundscape will transport you to a place of tenderness.

Where is the train you are on headed? To a fun place? To a nostalgic place?

This EP is based on field recordings I made on my way to fun and nostalgic places. These are familiar field recordings, but my mood was so uplifting that they turned out to be beautiful.

I would like to start this year with this album.

I have been making music alone for almost 20 years now. I would like to thank everyone who has ever purchased or listened to my music, my subscribers, my collaborators, everyone who has criticized as well as praised me, the equipment and electricity I have used to make music, my room, my time, my friends, my family, everything. Thank you so much.

As a token of my appreciation, I would like to release this album for free. Please enjoy it.

I have only one request. For once, for about 40 minutes listening to this album, please do nothing and think about nothing and just be in a daze. We are too busy. We need time to intentionally give our heads and hearts a rest. Once you get into that habit, you will inevitably feel yourself becoming energized again.
