Paul Talana is a South African electronic music producer/arranger/composer/sound designer/engineer and dj. He is known for his work under the monikers Paul Solaris, Amun Raah, Velvet Suite Lounge and SugaRman Paul.He also worked with labels such as Ospinna Digital, DeepTree Recordings, Elektrik Dreams, Sophisticado Recordings and has worked with the likes of Chris Brann, Giolo,Deepsonic,Ohyeah Music, Atal, Melomania Records to name a few. He is the founder of Headroom Entertainment (2009) and co-founder of Bodikela Recordings (2014) with La Santa Negra Art Agency (Germany). Paul Solaris also has two albums released under his name, Headroom Originals (2011) and Velvet Suite Lounge's studio album Human Nature (2013). His compositions range from Nujazz, Lounge, Electronica, Deep House, Deep Tech, Afro House and World Music. Paul Solaris also co-hosts Bodikela Sessions on ibizaliveradio (Spain) and Bodikela Lounge on Planet Radio (Germany) alongside Divided Souls & Samuri of La Santa Negra.

With a unique ear for music, it is clear that the foundation of Simtox career was built from a meaningful place. Simtox, whose real name is Simo Mbete, was born in South Africa in the small town of Engcobo in the Eastern Cape.

A music producer and DJ, Simtox is currently based in the heart of Port Elizabeth where his music career has progressed. 

He is on a mission to bring the greatest and most universal dance music of all time back to the air waves, back to night life and back to the dance floor, he is a very versatile all rounder. Simtox is a self taught producer who fell in love with music from a very young age,  he grew up in a family that love good music. His love for dance music started about 19 years ago when he got more exposes to the sounds of deep house. He got inspiration from a lot of industry greatest such as Dennis Ferrer,  Julien Jebre,  Louie Vega,  Andy Compton and the Rurals to name a few.

He describes his music as sensuary and healing. He has set on a journey to create his mark on the House Music scene with the release of his Single,  Take Me Away in 2014 which earned him following in regions like Europe,  USA and South America. He released his first EP,  Resurrection,  in 2018 under former Yaakun Records which is now known as Turtle Music in Mexico. He has had a number of features with a number of talented underground artists. He also collaborated with house music Diva,  Rocío Starry on a very hot single called MOAI which was released in Italy under the company PuccioEnza Records.

Simtox’s projects have earned him numerous accolades from well-known dj’s/producers such as: 
Black Coffee (South Africa),  Vasu (USA), Rocío Starry (Spain) to name a few.
He has shared a stage with numerous talented well known DJ's and has been a feature on a lot of fine events. He seeks to release another EP in the third quarter of 2020.
