Mood: Cinematic restraint, emotionally ambiguous, loopable melancholy

So am I is a modular original built from ambient synth pads, saturated bass, and syncopated chillstep rhythms. The percussion features swung hi-hats, ghost snares, and layered congas for bounce and spatial clarity. The synth bass is warm and sidechained, with octave lifts and subtle distortion for emotional propulsion. Pads stretch into ambient warmth, layered with vinyl crackle and shimmer FX for cinematic depth. Vocals are sparse and loopable: breathy alto phrases, whispered refrains, and spoken verses with stereo shimmer and tape delay. The structure is modular and mythic, built for topline overlays, sync edits, and late-night transitions. The mix favors clarity and restraint over density, with soft compression, EQ sculpting, and ambient textures to evoke emotional ambiguity.

This track is a modular release, built for vinyl drops, playlist sync, and cinematic transitions. It is shared publicly for immersive listening and remix reinterpretation. Non-commercial use only.
