After Hours 2023.  The Brooklyn Underground's Beach & Bridge Sess1ons parties on Plumb Beach & Under the bridge inspired by the original After Hours 1993 Yellow tape.  30 years later the sound has a West Coast Desert Party feel due to the fact that it goes way past darkness in sunrise and into the light of day.  

it's not a big festival business techno style or big room club music, though it could be.  The mixing style & track selection is a story, a journey with peaks & valley's, there are huge breakdowns & drops, but there is more too it then that.  It's the equation of literally thousands of Saturday Nights spent all around the world since 1983 - not doing math but I think we
are talking about 2088 Saturday Nights forged into next weekend.

it comes off different from anything else because it's all about having a signature style which can't be anything else but true authentic best version of self to date.

"The idea behind [the mix] was that you only get one shot to do a DJ set, so I treated it the same way I would pull up to a nightclub. In terms of the music selection, journey and the track listing, I've done it in a way that is really a snapshot of my sets that I'm playing at the moment. Very versatile, lots of different genres bending, and, you know, just to show that I'm basically not your generic garage DJ. It's massively influenced by people like Oneman who I've always based my DJing off."

We are thrilled to announce that the heroes of electro scene duo Human Rebellion return to our airwaves with a very unusual set for themselves with a bias towards the techno side.

Human Rebellion is a project based on a vision of a dystopian world where humans are in resistance against a global empire that has taken control.
Totally dedicated to a powerful and energetic electro-techno based on futuristic sounds straight out of their analog and modular synthesizers. They have been working under various pseudonyms for the last 25 years and signed their first vinyls in the early 2000s before coming back to their favorite style, Kraftwerk’s electro and everything that followed.

Which artists has influence you the most?

- There are a multitude of artists from different worlds who have influenced us. New Order, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Telex, Jean - Michel Jarre and many others, but as Belgians, what really got us into electronic music was the 'belgian newbeat' towards the end of the 80s (Amnesia, Lord of acid etc...) then T99 by Olivier Abbeloos in 1990, as well as the unforgettable tracks by D-shake, Frank De Wulf, Joey Beltram and generally the R&S label. Around '93, it was Richie Hawtin's DJ performances that really influenced us.
Patrick is more melodic and deep, with Mad Mike, Carl Craig, Dan Curtin, Juan Atkins, Claude Young, Drexciya, Suburban Knight, UR, Red Planet, Metamorphic, Planet E, Metroplex and many others as his main influences... Charles's influences are more European peak time techno and acid techno such as Luke Slater, Mike Dread, Dave Clarke, Aphex Twin, Leo Anibaldi, Woody McBride and the labels Peacefrog, Djax-up-beat, Rephlex, Warp, Generator, ACV, Soma, +8, but also Detroit techno, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood and his Hardwax label.
The 2000s saw the arrival of Vitalic, Anthony Rother and The Hacker, as well as break influences such as Prodigy, Plump Dj's, Dj Hooligans and General Midi, to name a few.

What new projects/Releases with your participation are expected in the near future?

- There are height new EPs (12") coming out in 2024 on labels we like, including excellent remixes by The Exaltics, Sync 24, Nite Fleit, Dj Stingray, Co-accused and others. Listeners can hear several of them exclusively in our dj set.

What inspires you now to create music?

- We like to think of ourselves as living in a simulation, a kind of matrix. That inspires us and gives us a lot of ideas. Then we think there are also things to say about AI, transhumanism and so on. These are worrying times in many ways, but also quite exciting in others.

What set-up do you use when creating music?

- We mainly use hardware to create our sequences, analog synths and eurorack modulars. We use ableton live to format and finalize our mixes.

What do you think of the current electro scene?

- We don't think the electro scene as a whole is peak time enough, it's often just music to listen to at home. Of course, there are a lot of good productions out there, but they don't necessarily make you want to move, which generally makes electro difficult to play at parties.
For our part, we like to try and move in this direction, to make electro a little more peak time, so that we can alternate electro and techno in a set without it being shocking.

•	GAMADON (aka GAvin MAc DONagh) started buying records and DJing in 1996.
•	Established the Warehouse Manifesto (WM) record label and guest mix series.
•	WMR001 was released in February 2022 and is distributed on Bandcamp and Juno records.
•	Had the privilege of warming up for The Prodigy, on their European tour in cities such as Berlin, Hanover, Prague and Luxembourg in 2015-2016.
•	First gigs were in my hometown of Mullingar in 1997 with Martian Arts, supporting the likes of 808 State and Sunil Sharpe in The Stables.
•	By 1998, I had secured myself gigs playing techno at the legendary Genius night @ Kitchen and also The POD alongside Warren Kiernan & Joe McGrath. I also played at Derek F’s acid techno parties @ Tivoli Theatre and 13thFloor/McGraths’ supporting Dave the Drummer, Chris Liberator and Lawrie Immersion.
•	Moving to Vancouver, Canada in 1999, I signed up with the Pound Recordings crew under the name ‘Dex of Hazzard’ and was resident at their weekly parties in The Palladium playing breakbeat and electro. I was also invited to play club Sonar and various raves around the city. I also played club Rebar in the city of Edmonton.
•	In 2001, I moved back to Mullingar and started a weekly hard-techno night called ‘The Beat Bunker’ in Daly’s in Mullingar, giving local DJs a chance to play in an intimate venue.
•	In 2003, the next destination was Bermuda. For the three years living and working in this scenic, secluded island, I co-ran the Calisthenics house music parties with DJ Andy Schnerg of Toronto. The Hip Therapy parties were a great success, being Bermuda’s only House and Techno night.
•	I started the Disco Nouveau parties in Mullingar in 2008. This monthly event was held in The Stables live music venue – hosting DJs like Sunil Sharpe, Fran Hartnett, Al Keegan, Niall Power, Barry Redsetta and even DJ Mes, label owner of Legendary US West-Coast house label Guesthouse!). This night ran for 4 memorable years.
•       Long-standing resident with Project Basement, based in Galway.
