Helena Hauff, a former resident DJ at Hamburg's Golden Pudel Club, rose to global prominence with her 2015 album "Discreet Desires." Known for her authentic style and expertly curated DJ sets spanning acid, electro, EBM, and techno, she has headlined major festivals like Sonar and Dekmantel. Hauff’s BBC Essential Mix was named the best of 2017, and her latest album, "Qualm," continues her raw, powerful approach to music.

DJ MELL G emerged through 2020 livestreams, quickly gaining recognition. She launched JUICY GANG RECORDS in 2021 and has since toured globally, blending electro, techno, and breakbeat. Performing at top venues like fabric and Golden Pudel Club, she’s also collaborated with artists like DJ GODFATHER. Her debut LP, "ISSUES," reflects her journey and commitment to mental health awareness in the music industry.

"They were wild and crazy years." The Spanish techno icon discusses his early years in Madrid, running record labels and staying true to his sound for more than 30 years.

Spanish DJ and producer Oscar Mulero is a legend of underground techno. Since starting to play parties and make music more than 30 years ago, he's earned a reputation as an anti-conformist tastemaker who's adamantly stuck to his guns. While his trajectory began with Madrid's goth and punk clubs in the '90s, he eventually found techno in the early '00s and started two labels, PoleGroup and Warm Up, as homes for the hypnotic, spaced-out sound that's become his signature. 

In this RA Exchange, Mulero reflects on the early days of the Spanish techno scene and how it's evolved, as well as his own roots and influences. Today, the artist is as active as he's ever been, he discusses how he's maintained longevity as an artist in the face of changing trend, as well as his best practices for making music at home and on the road. On Thursday the 21st of November 2024, come celebrate the pulsating heritage of Rotterdam’s Reclaim Your City at Saüle. Part of a new event series focussed on styles skirting what is widely embraced as ’techno music’, this first airdrop of the RYC squad promises to be a satisfying moment for all lovers of bold, boundary-pushing electronics. Clad in the austere industrial atmosphere of Berghain’s experimental-oriented subdivision, Saüle, the event gathers voices from distinct geographies and segments of the electronic music scene. From British master and seminal ‘Lost’ nights founder Steve Bicknell, who will blow the winds of dubstep across Saüle’s monster sound system, to Detroit-based deck whiz Erika who will get the heart of the Motown throbbing at the pace of its legendary electro scene, to London jockey and producer Cressida, representing the more alternative confines of the techno-adjacent sonics, from proper UK sound - understand jungle and grime, to techno itself, beware the torrential cascade of roaring machines and sine waves-spoken thunder firing on all cylinders.

•	GAMADON (aka GAvin MAc DONagh) started buying records and DJing in 1996.
•	Established the Warehouse Manifesto (WM) record label and guest mix series.
•	WMR001 was released in February 2022 and is distributed on Bandcamp and Juno records.
•	Had the privilege of warming up for The Prodigy, on their European tour in cities such as Berlin, Hanover, Prague and Luxembourg in 2015-2016.


•	First gigs were in my hometown of Mullingar in 1997 with Martian Arts, supporting the likes of 808 State and Sunil Sharpe in The Stables.
•	By 1998, I had secured myself gigs playing techno at the legendary Genius night @ Kitchen and also The POD alongside Warren Kiernan & Joe McGrath. I also played at Derek F’s acid techno parties @ Tivoli Theatre and 13thFloor/McGraths’ supporting Dave the Drummer, Chris Liberator and Lawrie Immersion.
•	Moving to Vancouver, Canada in 1999, I signed up with the Pound Recordings crew under the name ‘Dex of Hazzard’ and was resident at their weekly parties in The Palladium playing breakbeat and electro. I was also invited to play club Sonar and various raves around the city. I also played club Rebar in the city of Edmonton.
•	In 2001, I moved back to Mullingar and started a weekly hard-techno night called ‘The Beat Bunker’ in Daly’s in Mullingar, giving local DJs a chance to play in an intimate venue.
•	In 2003, the next destination was Bermuda. For the three years living and working in this scenic, secluded island, I co-ran the Calisthenics house music parties with DJ Andy Schnerg of Toronto. The Hip Therapy parties were a great success, being Bermuda’s only House and Techno night.
•	I started the Disco Nouveau parties in Mullingar in 2008. This monthly event was held in The Stables live music venue – hosting DJs like Sunil Sharpe, Fran Hartnett, Al Keegan, Niall Power, Barry Redsetta and even DJ Mes, label owner of Legendary US West-Coast house label Guesthouse!). This night ran for 4 memorable years.
•	In the past few years, Gamadon has played at the following events –
o	Puzzle Music Projects - Singapore Sept 2019. 
o	Scrobarnach Festivals 2015 & 2016.
o	Dublin: Mutate (The Pint), Bodytonic (POD), Electric City (Wax), Secret Cellar (Colour TV) 
o	Galway: Basement Project (The Cellar Bar – support for Alex Arnout and supporting Defekt in The Loft, Le Cure at Jungle Café and The Blue Note, headlined Kinetika @ The Factory.
o	Back to Back performances with Jamie Behan, Jon Hussey and Derek Carr.
•       Long-standing resident with Project Basement, based in Galway, Ireland
