ABSRDST (pronounced Absurd-est) reimagines the Mega Man soundtrack in a dazzling display of modern music production with Boss Beats. From classic house, to retro chiptune, to futuristic bass music, ABSRDST shows his versatility as a producer while paying tribute to some of the most memorable music from Capcom’s classic series.
The tracklist includes compositions from Mega Man 2, 9, 10 and X6, originally composed by Takashi Tateishi, Manami Matsumae, Naoto Tanaka and Yu Shimoda.

Malmen vs Retro - Citrus Paradisi

This is a compilation of the Attack of the Petscii Robots and Planet X3 soundtracks converted to MIDIfiles for The 8-Bit Guy's Commander X16 versions of the games. Original tracks have been converted to be compatible with General MIDI (GM) and made using the Roland SC-55 as a benchmark. There are even six new songs for Petscii Robots last levels (10-15) which hasn't been made into full songs like the original soundtrack (yet! ;)).

A few years ago I had the opportunity to work with Vreski games and create the soundtrack for their most recent title. I got an email with a few screenshots and was immediately sold. Stick-shooter, Hong-kong, super violent, and early 90's setting. What's not to love?
