I grew up with the Balearic Sound and it never really left me. This type of sound reminds me of the hidden Ibiza with the hippies jamming with live hypnotic percussion, mountainous backgrounds and rolling seas. This mix showcases many different instruments and influences from around the world that I have been lucky enough to see and experience. I hope you like this story..

Perfectly in tune with the summer season upon us, Islandman presents a refreshing sound from the shores of the Black Sea with this splendid sunny mix. Originally from Turkey, this brilliant producer started out at a young age and made his way in music by playing a traditional long-necked lute known as a saz. It’s thanks to this early relationship with music that Islandman developed the technique and feeling needed to handle farfetched rhythms, sounds and chants inspired by the flowering cultures of the Mediterranean Basin and beyond to blend them with mastery in his tracks and mixes. This eclecticism and understanding of music has helped him put together a wide range of melodies and musical styles which extend from enchanting edits of traditional Bulgarian sounds to smooth balearic disco. His mix is exciting and mesmerising, catching the mind in a gentle twine of melodies and rhythms. His perfect balance of percussions and electronic beats shakes and ripples throughout the track, and lifts you with ecstatic vibes. The mix goes on in a beautifully arranged journey set by the pace of your own inner dance, as if the concept of time ceases to exist and it’s just you and the music. Unser Servicepersonal hat versucht  sich nach Kräften auf dem Feel Festival nützlich zu machen und ist dabei den lieben Menschen der fantastischen Crew von Into The Woods Germany / Alle Tanzen zur Hand gegangen. 
Dabei wurde auch die Gelegenheit genutzt, die Verantwortlichen für unseren neuen Podcast noch etwas besser kennenzulernen.

Hi,
I’m really excited to announce Electronica Massiva as new guest wizz.  Actually, for me he’s so much more than a simple guest wizz, as over the last 6 months we regularly have slow-motion chat sessions in which we both inspire each other quite a lot.  As a general rule, I never ask personal details of the people I’m chatting with, but somehow I managed to find out that he’s into DJ-ing for the best part of the last 30 years or so.  Until recently he was more into 125-130 bpm stuff, but during the last year he has dramatically reduced the pace, specializing in the slowing down of deep house tracks of famous producers which – to his humble opinion – are just a bit too fast and when I listen to his slowed-down versions, I must admit that his humble opinion is always spot-on.
A few days ago, something really unusual happened during our chat session as I wrote a spelling mistake in a message to him.  For normal people, spelling mistakes are nothing special but in my case it’s so rare that I always immediately suspect a conspiracy of the universe.  I don’t remember which word I was trying to write, but the word which I wrote was ‘slowless’.  I think that’s such a beautiful word that it has all rights to exist.  The only thing we’re missing here is a meaning for that word.  Well, I know a lot of people who are trying to slow down their lives, but it just doesn’t work.  Actually, I think the only way to slow down time, is to go for less.  This could be less material possessions or less dependence on social media, less selfies or less whatever.  Anyway, that’s what I did in my own life and the result is just astonishing.  Less means more time, more creativity, more satisfaction, more life quality.  And as a consequence, the pace of life will slow down automatically.  So ‘slowless’ will inevitably lead to ‘slowmore’…  Which means that by now we have invented 2 new words :)
So now I invite you to close your eyes and let yourself drift away into the magic world of Electronica Massiva, where you can tap into an unlimited supply of slowless and slowmore…

Es sind viele Jahre vergangen , als ich die Idee hatte .. Musik mit Geschichten zu vereinen.
Nun entstand eine Interpretation in dem ich die Geschichten von Manfred Maser ( Texte ) , Nina Sander ( Sprecherin DE ) und Musik die ich sehr mag entlich vereint habe.

Auf dem Album  " Ich zeig Dir was " ( 2009 ) von Pit Baumgartner ( DE PHAZZ ) , Manfred Maser , Nina Sander und weiteren Musikern ,sind einige bezaubernden kleinen Geschichten ,sowie wundervolle Musik und unglaublich schöne Bilder von Christopher Winter  ( http://www.christopher-winter.com/gallery/virgin-forest-ii/small ) 
 zu finden.

Diese Interpretazion ist der erste Mix meiner geplanten * Themen Serie * mit dem Thema Geschichten und Musik. 
Geplant sind weitere Themenmixe , die ich nebst Casts ,Guest Mix , Mixtapes oder Interpretationen zukünftig veröffendlichen werde.

NIMM DIR ZEIT DAFÜR . ..  es ist eine art Hörbuch, aber mit Gemixter Musik ...
