George Fotiadis is a multifaceted creative music producer under the alias Basement Freaks. Born in Greece, Fotiadis has established himself as a versatile artist with a rich portfolio spanning audio storytelling and funk-infused electronic music.

Under the Basement Freaks pseudonym, George Fotiadis has carved out a notable presence in the music world, particularly within the funk, soul, and breakbeat genres. He is recognized as a producer whose work pays homage to the golden age of funk, merging the 1970s and 1980s vibes with a modern twist. 

He also contributes to the music production community by releasing live-recorded sample packs through Black Octopus Sound, enhancing his influence among producers and DJs.

Fotiadis’s approach to music is marked by creativity and a refusal to adhere strictly to convention.

FACTO est producteur de musique électronique et DJ depuis 2006. Il a signé ses premières compositions et remixes sur les labels Space invaders (Joachim Garraud) , Eikyou (André Dalcan) et sur son propre label French Frequency records.

Il a eté résident à la villa rouge de 2009 à 2014 sous le pseudonyme Noisetache en Duo et Facto Sonido en première partie de Orelsan, Steve Aoki, Adriatique, Crookers, Knife Party,  Cyberpunkers, Datsik, Alesia et d'autres. 

Ce qui lui a permit de mixer à l'INOX Park Paris (EPK) en 2013 et 2014 avec le groupe Harddiction et sous le nom Facto sonido.

Depuis il a repris les études en 2018 et obtenu un diplôme de sound-designer en 2021.
Il travaille maintenant au Studio des aviateurs sur Montpellier et donne des cours de son dans l'école de cinéma Cinécreatis sur Montpellier.

En parallèle, il continue d'être passionné par la production de musique électronique et le live.

Channeling deep and atmospheric music since 2004 and releasing his records on many labels, Nhar is processing every day his own personal sonic elements, carefully shaken in his very own hypnotic and deep signature.  
Using a smart mix of analog and digital production techniques, he's inviting to a journey toward an inner universe, lost somewhere between the bright and dark sides. 
He has recently shown his skills on labels like Hoomidaas, Anjunadeep, Seven Villas, Azzur and Feines Tier and he's also constantly bringing his equipment on stage and behind the booth, touring around the world to play live and dj his unique, introspective and mesmerizing deep electronic music.
