I had similar issues with the latest Wacom update but need to do some more testing. I followed the recommendations on Wacom's website and configured it with the guidlines for the manual install. Not sure how to approve "Automation" though.( -us/support?linkId=57350690&guideTitle=Is-there-a-compatible-driver-for-Mac-OS-10.14-Mojave%3F&guideId=014-001)


Thanks @talkingmoose, I appreciate it. I wasn't seeing anything under the tab and things were working fine last year with High Sierra. Mojave should behave similarly in this regard, but we needed an updated driver. As always, testing is required. It's been a while since I had set this up.


We have had a ton of issues with accepting kernel extensions in Mojave, Wacom drivers being one of the worst offenders. Our issue was Trend Micro security using a out of date agent. Once we updated our TM server and it pushed the new agent those issues has been minimal. So it could be something like that getting in the way of the acceptance.


Responding to an old post, I need to do this in our Industrial Design lab for a bunch of big pen displays. Building with Catalina. Last year we just all went in to that lab and did it by hand like Wacom describes on their site (you would think they would have this under control by now). Will the above work for Catalina and the 6.3.40-2 version of their drivers? Thanks very much for any assistance anyone can provide on this.

3x PPPC config files for uploading to Jamf Pro and the Approved Kernel Extension TeamID and Bundle IDs as Wacom is still using old Kexts in their latest driver release. This is working for me on 10.15.6 and is being used in a Student computer lab.
The only thing you can't automate is the keyboard input monitor. Everything else can be configured via a PPPC file.


Already uninstalled and reinstalled the driver multiple times. When adding wacom on system preferences > security and privacy > add the wacom driver > error comes up: Security settings prevented the wacom software from posting an event.


I get a problem where my pen stops aligning with the cursor after turning the tablet on and off. Restarting fixes it, but I figure it would be less of an interruption to just restart the driver. I can turn it off from Activity Monitor, but I can't find the file to run it again. It used to be in /Library/Application Support/Tablet but I'm not seeing it there anymore, and a spotlight search yields nothing, either.


Normally a computer shouldn't be displaying any messages in relation to a Wacom tablet if a tablet is not connected to the computer or if the Wacom drivers are not installed. Microsoft Windows has its own WinTab drivers, which will take over the functions of a graphics tablet if the tablet's own drivers are not installed. I am not a fan at all of the WinTab drivers and the Windows Ink garbage that comes with it.




Does your new notebook have a touch-capable screen? What specific error message are being displayed? I'm wondering if the problem actually involves WinTab drivers. It wouldn't make any sense for any Wacom-specific errors to be appearing if none of its software was ever installed on the notebook.


What model of notebook computer are you using? I'm still wondering about any touch screen capability the computer might have and if the Windows OS could be confusing it for something involving Wacom tablet drivers.







Normally any Wacom drivers are going to include installed apps. You might want to check Windows settings under Apps and see if anything involving Wacom is listed there. Also check Device Manager to see if there are any refer

I really hope this isn't a silly question. I was talking with my friend about the NANO and how it can deauth clients on a network, then convince those clients to connect to the NANO as a rogue access point. I realize that it is not difficult to capture and rebroadcast SSIDs, but they are always open access points. If I wanted to capture the WPA or WPA2 handshake, is there a way to either log it and send it to another machine to be cracked, or just grab whatever information the device sends to the NANO, and use that to create a copy of the original SSID complete with its password?


Actually I wouldn't say WPA/WPA2 passwords are hard to crack. It all depends on the set password of course. I've cracked WPA2 passwords in 2 seconds on my server with GPU's. Just because the password was made up with a word and numbers. Of course I then used my own wordlist together with some own rules in cudahashcat.
