Il y a des choses que Neu Verboten n’aime pas : les frontières, les nations, les clivages et les modes musicales. Par contre il aime la paix, l’anarchie et les vieux synthés. Il organise la résistance à l’immobilisme via son éclectique label @lustpoderosa qui accueille des artistes de tous horizons et dont une partie des bénéfices est reversée à l’AAPF, un think tank luttant contre les inégalités et pour la justice raciale, aux USA et dans le monde. Avec son compère @luigidivenere, il tient aussi le label : @philoxenia, qui signifie "amour de l’étranger", avec une première sortie par le français @stevemarie.

Long awaited repress incoming! Steve Rachmad’s richly melodic strain of techno has resulted in a huge body of work he has been growing since the early 90s. His sound is the perfect distillation of machine soul – dubby atmospherics and crisp, danceable dynamics balanced in perfect unison. Amsterdam’s Delsin Records gathers together some of the Dutch techno figurehead’s most important, sought-after works in a new EP series, all remastered from the original DAT tapes from Steve’s archives.

His flagship Sterac project is present – most notably the Asphyx EP, with a long-standing titling mistake now rectified on the iconic ‘X-Tracks’ comes first. Four absolute classic Sterac works dating from 1995. The Delsin Sterac series will focus on long-awaited represses and hard-to-find deep cuts from the Rachmad archives.

Adding to the weight of this series, the accompanying artwork is being created by Boris Tellegen, aka legendary graffiti artist Delta who first began designing sleeves with Secret Life Of Machines. Since then he created many works for labels including Delsin.

Two heavy hitters of the musical world have collaborated to create a special split EP. AEX, a great sub-label of the incredible Indigo Aera and the storied Delsin records have selected three artists a piece to create a well-rounded release that will usher us into a delightful early summer here in Brooklyn. From AEX comes Taupe, Emeline (aka Molly), and label co-owner Jasper Wolff, and from Delsin we have a few fresh faces, R.O.W.S, Annie Hall, and Yone-ko rounding out the crew.

The Barcelonian based Annie Hall is our focus of today, however. Her electro-tinged TTO hits a sweet spot of groove and flows with a few light pads filling the gaps. The broken beats provide a great percussive base to the high-flying synths and reminisce of a few SoHaSo releases that are near and dear to our respective hearts.

TTO and the rest of the EP will be out on June 4th. We’ll be looking forward.

For his last release of 2025, Always Friends delivers a darker, moodier 2-tracker to complement your holiday malaise. "Duloxetine" is reminiscent of late 90's atmospheric drum'n'bass with swirling pads, arpeggiated plucks, and plenty of haze in the mix. Unlike those old tunes, the bassline has a modern, punchy growl and the overall production is super clean and breakbeat-free.

"Quetiapine" is steady and balancing like the drug it's named after. Lush vox pads and shimmering synth runs are anchored by a simple bassline and punctuated with copious snare rolls. Take your meds and have a Merry Christmas!

There was a thick fog which hung beside the tree in the middle of the desert, they watched it from afar. It was not safe to roam outside here, amidst the wilderness ,for there were wild creatures and beasts which might eat you alive given the chance. The sand was a dense hybrid yellow, some might call it gold but for him that was not the case. The car whizzed across the outback headed for a town miles away in the distance, the engine coughed and spluttered beneath the heat of the day. They were all under strain... 

City Bowl Wax Network is a label based in Cape Town, South Africa. The label hit us up with two EP's of exquisite quality and precision that we were wholeheartedly blown away by. Not something that we get to say terribly often. This one comes with a gold stamp, or should we say a hybrid yellow stamp of approval.
