This DJ from the East Coast first started DJ'ing with a M+KB in FFXIV around Sept 2021. Watching her online friends DJ is what inspired her to get a controller. She ended up not doing a lot after that but her interest was rekindled after going to so many shows in VR. She considers the start of her "DJ Career" to be last June. She associates the original spark with the aforementioned friends tho <3.
She enjoys playing a lot of genres, which she knows is a boring answer, but it's the truth. She's been fortunate to play in a lot of places like: All of Lyoko's venues, Snowgrid, Shelter, & VR Egypt among many others.
In this mix, she explored memories and the kinds of moods she's been feeling lately. And lastly, she's finally working on music for her side project. Milkysoft is a passion project of hers where she gets to make music that she normally doesn't have the chance to.

From Oak Harbor, Washington, this DJ discovered his passion for mixing in 2019 after watching Ekali at Firefly Fest & watching all the DJ's on Insomniac's live streams during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, he is also learning how to produce music.

He's played at various VRChat venues, including Shelter, Vaultage, SnowGRID, OFFSHORE, Techno Tuesday, Breakcore Takeover, and his own venue, The Mob. His favorite genres to mix are Hard Techno and Jersey Club, which never fail to get the crowd going. For him, the best part about DJ'ing is seeing people dance and interact with his music, regardless of the crowd's size.

The set that he's put together was inspired by his past three major sets at Shelter, SNOWGrid, and Vaultage. He wanted to take the audience on a journey and showcase all aspects of his mind while DJ'ing during the past year. One of his favorite tracks in this mix is Amagii's remix of Love Burns by Nazaar, a song that brings out a lot of emotion for him and his friend Halo.

When he's not DJ'ing, he enjoys longboarding and playing Call of Duty with his friends Mexii and Azarya. Despite being known for playing Hard Techno and Jersey Club, he's a huge indie fan, with Quiet Light by The National being one of his favorite songs. A lot of his IRL friends are actually surprised to know that he likes playing hard genres.

This DJ from the VR Space has been mixing for a little over a year now. He was inspired to pick up DJ'ing after seeing his friends DJ and Dance in VR and wanted to join in. In fact, he told me the only reason he plays music is purely because it's fun and he wants to be dancing to the music he's playing. He feels fortunate to have venues and outlets that let him play whatever he happens to be enjoying without feeling pressured to play a specific type of music. He said and I quote "It makes me dance, I hope it makes you dance too". As of right now his go to genres are Club, Hard Drum, UK Funky, Ratchet Shit, and "Music That Will Make Me Gayer" My favorite genre. When asked what is the inspiration for this week's mix, he said "This one's for all the furry femboys out there 😻😻😻"

This DJ and Producer from New York has been mixing for 5 years now. Over the course of the 2 years she's been in the scene, she's DJ'ed at many venues. Her go-to genres are Neurohop, Hardgroove, Bass House, Breaks, and probably anything that has BASS. She was inspired to pick up DJing when she realized she had the freedom to mix anything how she wants and when she wants. With that in mind, this mix in particular is also inspired by the expression of variety and freedom to play and be who you are. One of her favorite songs in this mix is TEKNOHAZARD (XUSTRIST, GOS, HAIRBRUSH MIRROR) by RAVEMAIL. 

Outside of DJing, she said she used to longboard a lot but since she's moved she's been playing the piano and yoyoing. I used to want to get good with a yoyo but I could never figure out anything past throwing it down and getting it to come back up. She has been on her own since she was 13 and has traveled across more than half the states in the US, good times. One of her favorite non-EDM songs is The Mars Volta by Dyslexicon.

Finally, she's been working on a couple of projects which include a VRChat wold/Rave venue that hopefully steps away from the common club theme and she has an EP in the works. There's no real set release date for either of those projects but they're in the works.

This DJ from Melbourne, Australia has been mixing for 11 years now. He was inspired to start DJing after seeing HYPERJUICE play at Mogra back in 2012. He's played at a lot of VR Venues including Concrete, Sanctum, Ghost Club, Heist, Shelter, and of course Loner. Some of his favorite genres to mix are Garage, UK Funky, Jungle, GQOM, Dubstep, and Footwork. He said that one of the most rewarding things about DJing for him is Playing to his friends. Recently, he's been playing a lot of genres specific sets so for his Garage30 Mix he wanted to play a varied selection of some of his favorite tracks over the last 2 years. He also wanted to challenge himself to take a bunch of different genres and moods and sonically weld them into one cohesive listening experience and as special as all the tracks in this mix are to him, Watapachi's Juice 88 featuring ArthurX has kind of been the soundtrack to his life recently. The carefree vibe of the vocals is perfectly complemented by the always incredible production of Watapachi. Outside of DJing, he loves exploring the city. Honestly, he finds a lot of cool places, sometimes he posts photos to his twitter and it's like dog I want to take pictures there or something it's sick. Also, he's infatuated with Jackets, one of his favorite non-edm songs is I wanna be adored by The Stone Roses, and he can play the Trumpet. Coming from the Bay Area, This DJ and aspiring producer has been mixing for almost 16 years now. During his time at college in 2007, he had a dorm mate who had a deck. He started to learn how to mix with Shitty Numark CDJs and burnt CDs. He moved on to buy both the VCI-300 and the Numark NS7. He did random college gigs up until 2012 when he met with a group called Mixsterious. Founded by Kendo the DJ and the scratch legend DJ Qbert Mixsterious is a collective of DJs devoted to an out-of-the-box philosophy of mastering their respective crafts. From joining them they taught him everything he knows such as crowd reading, party rocking, and open format. They also taught him everything he knows in terms of Scratching and Turntablism. From there, he started to perform at more gigs such as clubs, bars, corporate events, private events, and even anime conventions. In 2017 he found VR and performed his first gig on May 25th, 2018, his birthday. 

Since then he's performed at a LOT of venues and events, such as El Sol, Aromerica Diner, Electric Forest, Red Lady, TJ's Tavern, Black Dragon, DDVR, MVP, Rizumu, Club Zodiac, Dirty Dancers, Club Good Internet, Club Rapid, ElectroSheep, Tube VR, VR Palace, Loli Squad, The Castle/ZombieLounge/VRUnderground, VR_Egypt, Lyoko, Safe in Sound, IDA Dance Battles (International Dance Association), Techno Tuesdays, SnowGrid, BCTO (Breakcore Takeover), REDACTED, The Boat, Pillow Talk (R&B Night), Claustrophobia, DERELICT, and his home base Hip Hop Night at Club Magenta just to name a few. At this moment in time, though, he's focusing more on IRL gigs rather than VR to better himself.  

You might recognize him as the Sora DJ with custom Rem and Ram Serato Vinyl Records. One of the first times I saw him DJ in VR I walked up to him and told him that if I didn't hear a one-hour set of Face Your Fears by Skrillex that I was going to leave. He laughed and told me to leave then. As a side note, he asks you to please help him get a Pioneer S11 he really wants one. 

His favorite genres to play are Hip hop, R&B, and Soulection. What is Soulection you ask? In summary, it is a selection of music that gives a sense that there truly is a sound of tomorrow, a so-called "soulection" sound or even its own genre: beat-oriented electronic grooves with spacey, atmospheric synths and vocal samples and chops that often reach back into 90's R&B. 

For this mix, he made what he says is something for him "fuck everyone else". 

Finally, his Birthday is on May 25th and he helped organize a collab with Hip-Hop Day @ Magenta and Pillow Talk for Pillow Talk Vol. 3. It's an R&B night but it's his b-day. So bring Hennessey dammit.

This DJ and producer from the United States has been mixing for 4 years now. They've always loved live shows but DJing always seemed out of reach as a hobby. All that changed when they found Loner Online. Seeing their friend Velatix perform for the first time was a huge inspiration to them to start DJing. Some of their favorite genres to mix are Breaks, Electro, Acid, and IDM. They've played at a bunch of venues in VR including Concrete, Ghost Club, M.A.S.S., Tube, Sanctum, Shelter, Loner, and PITCH BLACK ENERGY. This DJ and aspiring producer from Florida has been mixing for 2 and a half years. Ever since he was a kid living in a rural area the only kind of music he was exposed to was whatever came on the radio. There was always this one station, though, that had other DJs playing their mixes which made him open up to DJing. He would listen to that station as often as he could to hear new DJs and jam out. Some of his favorite genres to mix are Jersey Club, Electro, Club, Techno, and Breaks. He's also played at venues such as Heist, SnowGrid, ZU, and Rythem.
