The swearling mass of light that was diffusing through the mirrors gave place to a  holographic mountain, a cliff of inconceivable height, a colossal birdclaw carved in  stone and projecting over the abyss, an endless unfurling of gleam. This is what they  were seeing. Then it started spreading itself into countless shapes, almost as if it  was alive, as if it had a mind of it's own. This recording is what was echoing all over  the deserted place while they were having this vision. It felt like it was coming from a  strange white box.

For the last STAUB party (@staub-5) at @about-blank-berlin I was invited (as Ukranian born artist) to represent Ukraine and mix an extraordinary selection for the daytime tent-floor opening. Using disco-not-disco & techno-not-techno I create wavy and psychedelic sound to send the crowd on a cosmic journey.

Garçon Gaston was born on the coast of the Ukranian-Azov sea and is now living at Berlin. His eclectic approach to setting up storytelling developed through time, combining listening and danceable elements.

He has been collecting and playing music for more than a decade. Mystic, dark and sometimes funny (meant with a wink), his record collection ranges from Slacid, Leftfield-Disco, Kraut, and Wave to Electro and Trance.

For the last four years, he is also running the underground event series "Obscure Obsession" in Berlin. Trying to connect music-lovers with hidden corners of the scene while showcasing his selection alongside some of the nastiest "cable cutters" of the underground. "Crooked Jack", "Wicked Wave", and "Dirty Disco" guaranteed!
