Hierophlex is my main project for expressing various moods, visions and stories via (mostly) electronic soundscapes.
I've always been keen on sound design. To me, the textures are just as essential part of a song as the notes and rhythms. Even a single isolated sound, either incidental or musical, organic or synthesized, can trigger strong images and emotions- or maybe it's just me... :)
 I tend to spot inspiring sounds around me all the time, wishing I had my little Tascam stereo-recorder handy every day :)
Here, you'll get a nice mix of both composed and more abstract works.

Growing up in Bowmanville, Ontario, Crone has always been heavily involved in some sort of music scene. With friends in various bands from folk rock to deathcore, Crone always had a show to go to.

A few years before moving to Vancouver in 2020, Crone starting getting into various types of dance music and falling in love with the dancefloor. After a few years within the Vancouver dj scene, Crone decided it was about time he got involved in the creative side  of music himself.
