This is my DJ set played at Oltremundi, the Esoteric Halloween event by Gestalt and Saturn Movement, held at Fucine Vulcano on October 31, 2024, in Milan. I drew inspiration from the theme of the event, The Lesser Key of Solomon, a manuscript used for the evocation of ancestral and demonic entities. From this, I chose a predominantly hypnotic sound, sometimes unpredictable or unsettling, following a hypnotic techno line.

A political radio show that looks at political issues effecting working class Americans. The radio show is hosted by labor union members Mark Niehaus, Michelle Dunn and Clayton Adams. Boiling Point is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Music played removed from recordings.

Hierophlex is my main project for expressing various moods, visions and stories via (mostly) electronic soundscapes.
I've always been keen on sound design. To me, the textures are just as essential part of a song as the notes and rhythms. Even a single isolated sound, either incidental or musical, organic or synthesized, can trigger strong images and emotions- or maybe it's just me... :)
 I tend to spot interesting sounds around me all the time, wishing I had my little Tascam stereo-recorder handy every day :)
Here, you'll get a nice mix of both composed and more abstract works.

Cristian Comes, born in 1990, hails from San Severo, Puglia. His journey with music commenced in early childhood when, at the age of 8, he began recording the latest dance and trance hits broadcasted on the radio onto cassette tapes. 

This initial encounter with music sparked his passion for the electronic realm, eventually leading him to explore the world of music production, a path he has never veered from since.

Operating under the alias Hathor Libra, he marked his initial releases with Smiley Fingers Records, achieving a notable feat by securing the 10th position in Beatport's "General Top 10 Release" category with the Archetypum EP. His talent soon caught the attention of other international labels such as XTR Records, where he released two EPs.

Settling in Milan, he carved out a respectable reputation in the local scene with his magnetic sets, blending Electro, Deep Tech, and Groovy Techno characterized by hypnotic beats, soft drums, and enigmatic melodies. It was in Milan that he experimented with his first hybrid sets using Roland setups, showcasing his skills through live performances on various occasions.

His style draws inspiration from the electronic wave of the '80s/'90s, evolving into a relentless pursuit of clean, deep, and almost 'alien' soundscapes that resonate as his distinctive sonic signature.

Beyond being a passionate DJ and producer, Cristian is a member and co-founder of the Gestalt movement and the NO.ID collective. He collaborates with entities such as Milano Pride and clubs like Santeria, Apophis, Club 44 (formerly Dude), RAL Society, Stanza Club, and others.

In Puglia - Southern Italy, he remains active as a guest of the Only For Clubbers collective, participating in events organized both in Capitanata and Gargano.
