Homegrown explores growth on all levels through an alternative hip hop sound that is uniquely their own.

Upon meeting three years ago, Alex Douglas, and Levi Wheeler planted a partnership that flourished into “Garden View”, a Toronto based singer/producer duo, stemming in a different vein from the typical Toronto sound. As film-digital BFA students, they approach their music with cohesive visuals, striving for an experimental sound and evocative aesthetic, “Garden View” depicts an alternative hip hop style that is entirely unique. Their eclectic sound cuts through the Toronto music scene, bringing sonic diversity to the underground, in addition to being members of the UU (Underground Uprising) Group, a collective of artists located throughout the city.
