Hoffman & SaVannaH make a welcome return with talented vocalist Sanna Hartfield in tow for the latest release, Don’t Go.

Ethereal arps and pads begin the journey, followed by moody rumbling filtered bass to set the mood. Sanna's vocals then enter the fray and puncture through the track with poignant beauty. The second half sees everything break down into a classic reece, with amens rolling into view until the track smashes its way through the second drop.

The first leitmotif for this tune was written at 1AM when I woke up with the arpeggio in my head. I quickly jotted it down in Milkytracker and went back to sleep to work on it the next day. This was the first song I actually mastered with more than just a limiter.

My first ever music competition entry that made it through pre-selection. Whoo! Placed 6th out of 10 at FLaG2002.
I don't know where the melody comes from, it's from a MIDI file I found somewhere, and I have no idea who the original author is. Hope they don't mind.

I've been approached for this through a mutual friend; the brief was to score an animation with electronic music that accompanies schizophrenia and hallucinations - after some discussion I decided to go to a more demoish beat-driven rather than a strictly cinematic approach.

Originally made in 2004.08.27., in about 90 minutes. I guess about 10 people heard it since.

Don't know what to say. For a time, I couldn't listen to this.
