This is a song i wrote in the middle of occupy denver chaos.  its sort of a reflection of my struggles with dealing w/ an open movement, feeling the frustration of having to deal with liberals, etc.     i wanted it to be the first single for ARCOEE but the files got corrupted or something on Spencer's computer so we shelved it.   The song is still one of my favorites.

This was done in a very short time but it was all the more fun and challenge to work on this - the brief was "slightly retro, uplifting, slowish", so I tried to make it sound like a bit of an 80s sci-fi movie endscroller track. Despite some serious micromanagement to fit the future visuals, I'm very very happy with the end result.

The first leitmotif for this tune was written at 1AM when I woke up with the arpeggio in my head. I quickly jotted it down in Milkytracker and went back to sleep to work on it the next day. This was the first song I actually mastered with more than just a limiter.

My first ever music competition entry that made it through pre-selection. Whoo! Placed 6th out of 10 at FLaG2002.
I don't know where the melody comes from, it's from a MIDI file I found somewhere, and I have no idea who the original author is. Hope they don't mind.

SubFocus - RockIt (Stanton Warriors Edit)

The now famous third anthem we made Kenët and me for our good old friend "Unreal".

I composed the main melody and arpeggio chords progression and Kenët did all the rest, especially the wonderfull leads :)

You probably heard this tune before in (lots off) keygen/warez menu, in hundred different versions on YouTube, but THIS ONE is the original, released in september 2001 in the Rebel's chipmusicdisk #1 (http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=3604).
