Juan Manuel Abelando, conocido artísticamente como Handle Boy DJ, nació el 21 de junio de 1992 en la ciudad de Concepción del Uruguay, Entre Ríos, Argentina. Desde una temprana edad, mostró interés por la música electrónica, comenzando a explorar diferentes géneros a los 15 años.

Atraído por el house y sus subgéneros, Handle Boy DJ encontró su pasión en el Tech House, donde tuvo su primera gran experiencia en la escena musical. Durante esta etapa, tuvo la oportunidad de compartir cabina con reconocidos artistas nacionales como Carlos Ruiz, FeMMes On DecKs, y Camila Diaz, entre otros, consolidando su habilidad y conocimiento musical.

Después de un tiempo alejado del circuito, Handle Boy DJ afinó su oído y se aventuró hacia nuevos horizontes. Fue así como se sumergió en el género del Progressive House, siendo influenciado por grandes artistas como Hernan Cattaneo, Mariano Mellino, Fran Bux, Ezequiel Arias, Nick Warren y Guy J, entre otros. Esta exploración le permitió ampliar su perspectiva musical y desarrollar su propio estilo distintivo, fusionando diferentes géneros en sus sets. Con el objetivo de generar una experiencia inmersiva y momentos emocionales, Handle Boy DJ busca transportar a su audiencia a través de una profunda conexión y una intensa nostalgia en cada una de sus sesiones. Su enfoque versátil y su capacidad para mezclar diferentes estilos musicales le han permitido destacarse en la escena local y generar un creciente seguimiento de seguidores.

A los 29 años, Handle Boy DJ regresó al circuito en su ciudad natal, donde comenzó una nueva etapa en su carrera artística. Desde entonces, ha participado en destacados eventos y ciclos, como las Boiler Sessions, Cuchate.Esta, Somos Muchos radio show, Origins, PM producciones, aurora, FDT en Terraza club, Umbra (uy), entre otros. Ha ocupado diferentes roles dentro del circuito, desde ser el cabeza de cartel (headliner) hasta actuar como warmup/openning.

Con su pasión por la música electrónica y su habilidad para crear experiencias sonoras envolventes, Handle Boy DJ invita a todos a sumergirse en su propuesta musical única y disfrutar de su energía y talento en cada presentación.

Dj/Producer and co-founder of Laika Sounds, Nathan Clement has been taking his listeners on a unique sonic journey since the inception of his DJ career in 1999. Throughout the years, Nathan has shared the decks at warehouse parties, festivals, and club events with several industry giants including Atish, Brian Cid, Darin Epsilon, Dave Seaman, Davi, Mark Farina, Serge Devant, Soul Button, Tara Brooks, and Quivver. He has been featured on top internet radio sites and podcasts such as Global Transmission, Husa Sounds, 8day, Proton Radio, Diesel FM, Digitally Imported, and is the host of Synectics on Friskyradio. Nathan’s DJ sets capture his ‘beautifully dark’ signature sound while displaying versatility through the spectrum of house, techno, and even drum & bass.

Since his inaugural ‘Rock Rose’ release on Polytechnic Recordings in 2012, Nathan has been rapidly gaining momentum as a respected electronic music producer. His original works and remixes can be found on Revelation Records, Euanthe Records, Deep Blue Eyes, Stripped Recordings, Emotional Content Recordings, Making You Dance, Dear Deer, and BC2. In 2015, his remix of Cid Inc vs Darin Epsilon’s ‘Outliers’ was named as the Beatport Community Pick contest winner by Perspectives Digital. Nathan’s tidy discography reveals his passion for creating quality dance music while continuously evolving as an artist.

From an early age, music has been important in Leo's life. As a child, he began studying piano, followed by drum lessons during adolescence. In theory and practice he obtained top qualifications and was recognized with diplomas and medals.

His liking for electronic music started in the late 90's when bought his first mixed CD compilations from Sasha, Hernán Cattaneo, Deep Dish, Paul Oakenfold & Brooklyn Bounce.

In the beginning of 2003, his curiosity towards dj'ing grew and he decided enroll in a recognized electronic music school in Buenos Aires, Argentina (his birthplace). During this time, an already established local artist named Fernando Romano was a great help in showing him how to perfect his skills as a DJ. He played at important places and events like: Pacha, Pampulha Iate Clube, El Divino, Caix, Jet, 206 Creamfields, Expo BoomA, with sponsorship brands as Red Bull, Heineken, Fibertel, Topline and URBE Bikini Mag from Venezuela.

Happy music seems to be the concept; groovie bass-lines accompanied by harmonic melodies in his track selection and a fine mixing technique make him stand out among others in South America. His unique style makes it hard to classify his sound into just one category, as he blends many different sub-genres of House music... Neo Progressive, Disco Tech, Electro Funk, or however you wanna call it!
His influences over the years as well as today are Luke Fair, S.O.S, Danny Howells, Ricky Ryan, Tom Middleton, Eric Prydz, Echomen, Tiga & Sander Kleinenberg.

He has been supported by world-class artists such as Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West), Chris Salt, Add2Basket, Neil Quigley, Chloe Harris, Roman Rai, Tom Morgan, Matt Tolfrey, Helen K, Brent Toepper, Marz Faram and many others. Besides, he was charted by Sultan (Yoshitoshi/Tao), Lifeform (Link/Droog), Andrew Pacey (Believe/Gorg-O-Mish) & DJ Firuz (Sikamikanico Club, Oslo).

At the moment, this young and vibrant artist spends his time making edits, producing his own tracks and promoting himself in local and global radios, such as Proton, Frisky, Just Music, ETN, Mercury Sessions, Di.Fm, Club 246, Dance-Fm, X4 104.3 Fm, KSK 101.9 Fm, Doble Nueve, DLA & ADN Alternative.
