The 7th Frenzy chapter is upon us and we are delighted to present a long-running project with no other than UK mastermind Hurdslenk. Years ago he took part in the Frenzy contest - having us hopelessly falling in love with his driving trademark sound. Growing up in the 00s techno era, he subtly blends old-school elements with a contemporary vision in an unrivalled way, resulting in releases on labels such as Freddy K’s KEY. We’re proud to finally see ‘Twenty Cycles’ EP delivered, a 6-track EP including two remixes by UK-born and raised Bailey Ibbs and Frenzy co-founder Isaiah.

‘Pull Effect’ opens the realm of the A-side and pays respect to its name. You’re drawn into a scenery of deep kicks, drums, and mental vocals. Followed by ‘Mayhem’, a deep and pensive groover that slowly builds up to an echo chamber of dark pads and gentle dub accents. Bailey Ibbs kicks in the door with a remix on the verge of the industrial and the forceful. The B-side embarks on a ride into the past with ‘Warriors’, where compressed dub patterns and a haunting speech set the stage for a mind-altering body workout. Before you know it, ‘Onem’ kicks in with a tension release and sweaty groove while Isaiah flips the coin on this track and transforms it into an uplifting bouncy bass workout.

It’s time to move -‘Twenty Cycles’ EP takes you on a journey into the deep.

Antonio Martos, better known as Tony Baltimore aka Tony the Hat, was born in Madrid in 1987. He fell in love with electronic music at just 12 years old, inspired by friends who introduced him to the raw sounds echoing through the city's underground clubs.

His musical journey has moved through everything from commercial Progressive to the most relentless Hard Techno. Over time, he began crafting his own sets, blending hard-hitting techno with deep, percussive Hardgroove — always chasing the pulse of that early-2000s hard techno energy.
