For their next release, the Parisian label Ondulé Recordings hits hard with a new project : 4th Sign. A 2 parts LP to introduce their genuine world…
The story of 4th Sign. Two long time friends & producers Joss Moog & Around7, with common background & influences, and the same love of original samples & genuine loops. This project seemed to be obvious.

Then as the title (Eloge de la lenteur) suggests; take your time, enjoy and let the music play!!
If you think that groove & pleasure is not a BPM matter and you can say a lot in just 4 bars, 
we're sure you'll appreciate the trip...

4th Sign - No Trouble No Men

Up To Rise is a disco-edged balearic instrumental whose strengths lie in the dubby, improvised feel, no doubt stemming from their late-night live studio jams. Simple guitar hooks and ad-libbed vocals add to the human feel which @SessionVictim always inject by the bucket-load. This track has been getting an amazing reaction from their recent live shows.

The 1st of October 2020 marks 60 years since the independence of Nigeria. Nigeria as we know it today though is not the same Nigerian Federation from that day, having entered its Fourth Republic in 1999. Just as Nigeria has undergone transformation after transformation in the 20th century, so has its music. Nigerian musicians, such as Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade, and the Lijadu Sisters, have always been at the forefront of boundary pushing sounds. Today, artists from Nigeria and the diaspora remain amongst the foremost in creative expression. This mix exemplifies the diversity of that legacy, showcasing the highlights from the motherland and beyond, with contemporary giants such as Yemi Alade, Burna Boy, Jidenna and Wizkid. All the artists here, albeit largely Yoruba, bring an eclectic mix of firebrand sounds that speak to the history of Nigeria through their sounds, as well as its present and future, through their words.
