We welcome Penelope for our fourth podcast. Originally from Paris but now living on the sunny coast just south of Lisbon, Penelope recently made her production debut on Tresydos records. Here she shares with us one hour of her personal soundworld, floating between tech-y disco-flavoured house and party electro in a signature clubby style. The Basic Moves Of ... PENELOPE

Pily has been carving out a unique sound for close to 9 years, with her music being an intense composition of ’90s house, 80s, electro, breaks and minimal. She first encountered music at the age of 16, when she jumped into a drum set and never let go. DJ-ing or moving to turntables was very intimidating since she was so inclined to acoustics. Once introduced to the gear, it was nothing but pure love for the art of mixing and she started developing the skills that now have been entrancing her musical style. Her hypnotically sound has allowed her crowd to take on a discovery journey through eclectic selections.
