What a night! 
I was given the honour and handed the warm up headphones once again for one of Robbie's milestone nights. They don't come much more significant than 30 yrs of djing and the man did not disappoint. Some incredible music with some even more incredible mixing and programming. He truly is one of the best dj's Australia has to offer. Opening the club for the first 3hrs spinning about 35 records with just a few digi tracks thrown in. - My first 3 tunes were from a favourite album of mine by the legend Sade before moving into some atmospheric sequences, strings and chords. Sit back & enjoy the ride..

This is our live recording from Saturday afternoon @ Serenity Now (doof / festival), consisting of some of our most treasured records we own. The perfect representation of the coming together of like minded individuals. A boutique festival, a couple hundred people, nestled a little out of Sydney in the most lush little valley imaginable. Over this weekend, the most incredible music was on display from literally every dj & live act. Our hand & heart goes out to Jordan (TSURA), Donna (Auntie Donna), Kyle, Aaron & the team for pin point programming & welcoming Pip & I into the Serenity family cause by the end, everyone really did feel like family. We all knew what we had just experienced was something extremely rare but magnificent. Please hit me up for any ID's.. Sharing is caring ;)

My live recording - A wonderful 1.5hrs of music played in the Alchemist Tent at Subsonic. Can i take a moment to describe the sound system in this tent. Nothing short of absolutely incredible. Quite possibly the most beautiful sound i have ever heard & the most exquisite looking to the eye. A huge storm rolled in during the last 10 minutes of my set that cut the power. There was an abrupt & unfortunate conclusion at the time so i included one more track and joined together in original mix. Shout outs to Tim Reeves for the booking, you, Emily & the team did an amazing job with the decor.

Bio: 
Jossy is the solo moniker of Josh Wright, the not-so-better half of radio show duo Casting Out, who hold down a weekly show on digital UK-based station Sub FM. Concerning himself with the latest and greatest in the world of house and techno music, his mandate revolves around musical journeyism via carefully selected cuts.

Jossy regularly ventures out beyond the studio and into Sydney clubs, bringing an infectious groove-heavy sound that might just make you want to close your eyes and imagine you’re either naked on a tropical beach with a jug full of mai-tai, or stomping a hole through the floor in a sweaty Berlin basement club. It’s this aural transcendence that permeates through his record collection and shines through in his sets.

This is the live recording of the 4hr set I played as a guest for Casting Out late last year. Josh Wright did a great job warming up the turn tables for the first 40 minutes. The 4hr set starts at 40min in the mix with Josh taking control back for the final half hour.

Drawing heavy influences from late 80's / early 90's house music in Chicago, New York, Italy & Japan and artists/labels such as MBG, Logic, Fred P, Tevo Howard, Soichi Terada, Rick Wade, Telephones & Gnork, Blind Jacks Journey, Deep 88, Jose Rico, Dubbyman, Ron Trent, DaRand Land, C.K & The Estimulo Show. He is a self confessed vinyl enthusiast from Sydney, pushing music that is characterised by rhythmic kick drums, off-beat hi-hat cymbals & synthesizers.


Anything Soul and Synth driven, warm & creative, you can be pretty sure it's in his record bag.
