Closing the year of 2015 with one of the most respected artists of House and Techno industries, who stops by at our warm place to disperse his special magic powder. Belgium&#8217;s diamond has an impressive back-catalogue, flooded by hot gems - releases on very notable record labels such as: Bedrock, Suara, Great Stuff, Octopus, Terminal M - just to name a few. Running his very own record-labels &#8216;Say What?&#8217; and &#8216;Aella Music&#8217; (collaboration label with Hermanez). 
&#8216;Responce Tactic&#8217; is one of those tracks you will easily recognize at the dance floor and it might remain one of the night&#8217;s highlight: powerful/driving techno grooves along with uplifting-progressive-pads/leads that create a magical atmosphere. TIGHT production ahead! 
The fun isn&#8217;t over; Germany&#8217;s &#8216;one-of-the-most-valuable-producers&#8217; joins the party and delivering a fan-tas-tic remix. Nothing better to refresh your ears with Thomas Schumacher&#8217;s homemade fat basslines, excellent selection of drums and of course the exciting vibe from the original on top. Cream de la cream.

Ramon Tapia - Responce Tactic (Original Mix) [Rusted Records]

TN.T invites us to his warped world and the title track is the perfect introduction with haunting atmospherics, mangled dialog and quirky synths.&nbsp; &#8220;Dum Dum&#8221; picks up from there with an optimistic bassline and major stab action before &#8220;Fiya&#8221; takes over, employing more off-kilter effects together with a rocksteady rhythm section and indecipherable vocals.&nbsp; Closing up is &#8220;Muthfkr&#8221;, which initially seems as a fairly obvious chord and drum workout until that menacing synth riff kicks in.

Affiliations/Residencies/Projects: Label heads of Cutcross Recordings, spotlighting bass-centric sounds teetering around 140BPM. Resident DJs for Deep Medi. We’ve also hosted a Sicaria Sound radio show since 2016; Been on hiatus since October this year but we’re bringing it back in a new form in 2021!

Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community: Stay true to yourself and try to constantly remind yourself how worthy you are of what you’re doing. The music industry can be frustrating and alienating at times so please don’t hurt yourself by shying away from who YOU are; we shouldn’t be pressured to fit any kinda mould. Also, support each other in genuine ways: Give praise but also don’t be afraid to share constructive criticism. No one wants to only be surrounded by “yes” people, you want people who are real with you but with a compassionate approach.

About The Mix: It’s a balance between blends we would have brought to club sound systems if they were open vs. some off-kilter ones you’re more likely to kick back to at home, maybe play on a long drive to nowhere. As always with our sets there’s plenty of low-end and percussive heavy trax.

Gary Esson, aka GE, is a Midlands based house and UK garage producer. Gary's first release, The Nu Generation EP in 2004 on Karl “Tuff Enuff” Brown's 2Tuf 4u label unleashed his bumpy cut and paste style garage tracks to the masses. With subsequent releases on labels such as Strictly Flava, Highly Swung and Pointblank His tracks have gained support from number of established DJs, including DJ EZ, Karl Tuff Enuff Brown (of legendary Tuff Jam fame), DJ Q and US based  producer and Dj Todd Edwards, who alongside artists like Marc Kinchen (MK) greatly influenced the micro-sampling style evident on a number of GE tracks.

Although he made his name through garage productions, Gary also produces a diverse range of styles from deep house, jackin house,funk, to hip hop and r&b.
