@shabbe1 is a Berlin based DJ and producer. In his youth he was drawn to music by playing guitar, taking influences from old records of jazz, funk, disco and rock.
After falling in love with the unmistakable sound of old skool deep house and garage, Shabi embarked on an ever passionate search of sounds and records. In his sets you'll find elements of deep, funky and jazzy house combined with punchy and groovy garage sounds. 
Shabi's releases already brought him attention, with labels like Lisztomania, Sundries, Moodyhouse, Blur and more.

The Patchouli Brothers are best friends bound together by oddities. They share an affinity for the  esoteric side of disco, house, and all other forms of soulful dance music. They hold down a  residency at Beam Me Up, a disco night in Toronto & Montreal, and have had releases on some of their favourite labels like Defected, Nervous, Razor-n-Tape, Soundway, GAMM, Soul Clap, Star 
Creature, Pleasure of Love & Basic Fingers. We are so stoked to have them join us here for their first release on Sosilly and our seventh vinyl release SSE007… Like Bond they delivered nothing short of pure class! 4 x absolute fire cuts that can turn any place upside down. A1. 8x8x8=4 is a percussion monster cut of Sister Sledge cover of ‘Stevie Wonders – As”, A2. Cos I Love U is another bass and drum work out of “Thelma Houston - Don't Know Why”, B1. Now Djing at Electrik Disko every fortnight, and throughout the summer we are in the outside courtyard area in The Commercial Bar Wrexham. Nice sound system and great location ..puurfect.
