We start the summer with Alaix Pulse and his ‚Cavalcade‘ EP. It contains three original tracks and one remix by @thomas-gaarthuis and one by apaj.  The title track ‚Cavalcade‘, which Alaix Pulse created in cooperation with Ju, stands out with its wonderful melodies and Ju's beautiful voice.  ‚Existence‘, the second track of the EP, takes you on a journey through deep bass and playful soundscapes.  

The last original track is called ‚Joie‘ and brings a rolling bass that keeps pushing forward. In the break, soft voices can be heard, which transport you to another sphere.  The first remix comes from Thommie G, who chose the song ‚Cavalcade‘. He brings in a whole new drive with his version and knows how to use Ju's vocals skilfully.  The EP is rounded off with apaj's remix of ‚Existence‘.  His version is darker than the original. It has a heavy bass that will make any dancefloor shake.

Renowned Spanish producer Dosem and rising duo My Friend join forces on ‘Blue Marble / Door To Door’.

Best known for his progressive productions and pumping DJ sets, as well as his own imprint Houstrike, Dosem has become a regular on Anjunadeep. Following his label debut in 2018, Dosem has since gone on to release his album ‘Dream Decoder’ as well as fan favourite tracks ‘Time After Time’, ‘All The Love’ and ‘Hypnotised’ with Tinlicker. He has also wowed at Anjunadeep label events at venues including the now-closed Printworks London.

My Friend, aka James Levey and Archie Ward, are a British duo who’ve previously released on labels including Toolroom, Armada Electronic Elements and W&O Street. Following a string of successful releases on Anjunadeep including their ‘Came Here For Love EP’ and single ‘Follow Me’ with Simon Doty, the duo have garnered support from Sarah Story, Pete Tong and Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1.

Their new double A-side showcases the three producers’ dark, club-ready style that has earned them collectively support from the likes of Maceo Plex, Hot Since 82, Gorgon City and Boys Noize.On ‘Blue Marble’, the listener can hear a driving kick and pulsating lead, while on ‘Door To Door’ (first heard on flagship label compilation Anjunadeep 14), a bold bassline is complemented by brilliant, acid-inspired synths.

“My mother” says HDSN “is my biggest idol to date. She gave me the roots to grow and the wings to fly and pretty much dedicated her life to my sister and i. She has been holding herself accountable day in day out for more than twenty years to raise two kids as a single mom. Although my dad couldn´t be there she always kept the cable long and so we lacked of nothing - she literally gave us all that she got. It´s been her strength, her humbleness and her relentless effort which has made me and my sister the beautiful human beings we are today. Most importantly it was her acknowledgement of my passion for music that saw me being able to pursue what i call my destiny today. She has been my biggest supporter since day one even she couldn’t understand at first. She oftentimes called my music too “esoteric” little did we know how many peoples hearts these songs would touch on the way. From the very beginning i wanted to dedicate a song to her but as she was pretty delicate when it comes to my tracks i knew i needed to find the right notes to hit the right spots. It´s been eight years now since i started out to make music and with very much excitement i can announce i finally been able to thrill her soul. It´s with little hesitation that i dedicated this song which i ended up calling “Stronger” to her. I come from a family full of fighters, there have been many ups and downs for all of us but we stood strong to the struggle and managed to keep our shine. This goes especially for my sister as life dealt her a couple of rough patches early on. She was fighting her own war marching through the valley of death from a very young age. She never gave up though, thrived out of darkness into light like a poppy seed and now eventually became a mother, too. Life kinda neglected us over the year. I had to leave my loved ones behind to live my dream but there has always been a part of me that tried to find his way back home, which i finally stopped denying. “No Place Like Home” is dedicated to most important women in my life, my mother, my sister and her newborn child. This record is an homage to my family and the beauty that lies within our tribe.

Flow Music is back with the 10th release on its record label, and it's celebrating double figures with an epic melodic house EP featuring enchanting original music by Amir Telem, plus remixes from Nōpi and Soul Button.

Amir Telem is an Israeli artist whose broad tastes cover a full range of melodic styles ranging from indie dance to progressive house. An accomplished DJ and talented producer, Amir Telem's style fuses invigorating melodies with expansive atmosphere and crisp percussion to create tracks and remixes released by the likes of Bar 25, 3000 Grad Records, Pipe & Pochet, Joof and Armada.

On remix duty, Nōpi is a Ukrainian artist known for his deep and uplifting releases on Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream and Do Not Sit. He is a talented young producer whose organic style warms the heart, mind and soul.

Also providing a remix, Soul Button is a German artist who plays headline DJ sets across Europe and further afield. He describes his melodic style as ethereal techno as its angelic atmosphere and driving percussion are truly spine-tingling. His own record label Steyoyoke is the main outlet for his original tracks, but he has provided remixes for other labels including the likes of Einmusika Recordings.

"Laws of Detachment" is an uplifting track with shuffling percussion and angelic vocal samples, and Soul Button’s remix works in extra synths that build suspense and lift the intensity. "Radesh" is second of the two originals and it has fluttering melodies layered with dramatic stabs to create a monumental sound. Nōpi's remix of Radesh softens the original by adding a tranquil vibe that contrasts with the upbeat percussion to create a mesmerising version that's perfect for the dance floor.

Greg Paulus joins forces with fellow Brooklynite Taylor Bense for a new Freerange EP showcasing their left field, raw house sounds across three original tracks plus a bonus Martinez Brothers edit.

With previous releases appearing on labels as diverse as Soul Clap, Let’s Play House, Ghostly International and Kompakt, the producer, DJ and trumpeter is perhaps best known for being one half of No Regular Play who have recorded LP’s and EP’s for Wolf & Lamb, Crew Love, and Let’s Play House. Never one to be confined to one genre, Greg takes influence from Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop and underground house to form a unique sound primed for discerning dance floors. Taylor Bense is an in-house composer and producer at the highly regarded Hyperballad Studios in Brooklyn, where he works and records a wide spectrum of music for everything from high end commercial work to EP’s for Wolf + Lamb and Soul Clap Records. The entire EP was recorded and produced at Hyperballad Studios over the past few years.

Title track Heat Make Sense wears its Prince inspiration on its sleeve with a hooky whistled tune, crunchy live bass fills and punchy, raw beats. Next up we have Switch which features Brooklyn MC’s Stimulus and Malik Work on vocal duties and Greg’s own trumpet adding top lines to the deep pads and rolling groove.

Marino takes us back to golden era jacking Chicago house of the 00’s but with Greg’s trumpet flourishes bringing a live, jazzy energy to the track. Fellow NYC mainstay Big $exy provides his trademark deep baritone vocal to give a little hip house flavour. Closing out the EP we have NYC’s Martinez Brothers providing an uptempo minimal edit of Do You Love Me, a track from Greg’s previous Freerange EP. The MB’s keep things rolling and stripped back for maximum club impact creating a useful DJ tool whilst allowing Greg’s musical and vocal parts to shine.
