AXNÉR (@axnermusic) are Disco Freaks' Chris Davies (Acid Jazz Records) and singer Julia Axnér and have their debut single Got The Look Dropping this week. 

This is track that Yam Who? quite rightfully picked up in his Disco Juice Essential tracks of the month column for us. We were blown away by the all live summer infused feel-good vibes of the Al Kent (@milliondollardisco) remix so we are very pleased to host the premier of the track today!

Silky smooth house vibes from Retromigration as you would imagine. Intricate synth & sax riffs combine with perfectly timed vocal snippets to give a lush A side that wouldn’t feel out of place on KDJ.
The Earl Jeffers remix adds a bit more beef to the situation, bringing chunky Omar S style kicks for a dubbed out chunkier rework of the original. ‘Stop the Presses’ is an anthem! Ridiculous vocal work and smooth as you like shuffled beats provide the perfect setting for an absolute summer slayer. ‘You & Dion’ jacks the tempo up a notch and uses arpeggiated bass-lines and classic Retromigration wind instrument sounds to amazing effect.

It's been a swift rise for Bavarian natives Sebastian and Jesko, the Munich-based pair known as Decent Rides, since they first appeared together in the scene not long ago. Their common interests in making music quickly became apparent.

Buenos Aires EP is a good sample of their intention to develop a sound that reflects their eclectic taste, incorporating hip-hop, jazz, disco, and house, which is where they come from.
You'll recognize the ruff, rugged, and raw spirit both in their productions. Always keeping up the soul and delivering the right amount of love and deepness. Watch out for the Garage Remix by German duo COEO, which is one not to be missed.

Was resident DJ at the weekly Blast Club in Chester since summer 1988, Quadrant Park Liverpool 90/91 , Sweet Chester , Elevate Bangor   etc etc  .. Now Djing at Electrik Disko every fortnight, and throughout the summer we are in the outside courtyard area in The Commercial Bar Wrexham. Nice sound system and great location ..puurfect.
