Dutch artist HATT.D returns to GLBDOM, this time on a full artist album titled "Welcome To Paradise". The album includes 10 original tracks and six remixes by influential artists such Paul Rudder, Hurlee, Jeff The Fool, Dub Striker, Yann Polewka and Marc Brauner.

Ranging from the laid back vibes of "A Rainy Sunday Afternoon" and feel good house vibe of "It’s Alright" with it’s 90’s edges and hands in the air pianos through deep groovy numbers like "A tribe Called Jazz" and "Birds At The Lake" and the the jazz edged "One Question" it’s a strong offering with something for every taste. It also combines beautifully as a whole for a rewarding listen.

One and a half years after his successful debut EP ‘You Like Jazz?’ on Salin Records, Michael Diamond comes back with another fresh and powerful release. Possessing a strong jazz feel albeit cloaked in the veil of a more modern electronic sound, the concept EP ‘Silk Road’ marks the next level for the 22-year-old as he dissolves any boundaries between genres, creating a symbiosis of sounds and textures to take you to places only he knows. We still enjoy remembering how we celebrated the release of his ‘You Like Jazz EP’ back in January 2020, Oxford, where Michael Diamond and Christophe Salin DJed back-to-back alongside live improvisation from saxophonist Alex Wilson. It was at that special weekend that Michael played some of his latest ideas to us over a coffee in his student room. They were the first versions of ‘Through Ivory Gate’ and ‘Adrift Penitent Moors (feat. Alex Wilson)’. Michael later wrote ‘Adrift Corrosive Waters (feat. Alex Wilson)’, ‘Glistening Currents’ and ‘Lullaby of Birdland’ especially for this EP and Salin Records. He decided to team up with his friend Alex Wilson again to provide some serenading sax lines to bring the whole story to life. ‘Through Ivory Gate’ pays homage to Michael’s Indian heritage. Inspired by the theme of Asian culture and the rest of the EP, Michael’s close friend Áine Kim Kennedy crafted an abstract poem to be read alongside listening to the music. It is a beautifully enigmatic verbalisation of the journey the EP intends to take you on. Finally, Daria Salin embodied the music and poem through
her painting. The final result is a marriage of artforms; Music, Poetry and Art, all to be absorbed together as a holistic experience. We hope you enjoy your journey through the Silk Road!

We close the year with this EP by the heads and minds of the label that showcases the versatility and creativity of electronic music. It's a very diverse EP that ranges from simple breaks to eclectic and fast dance rhythms that will unsettle you without a doubt. The strongest common point of connection between side a and side b is the absence of vocals that allow the music to speak for itself. While Imanol created two atmospheric tracks transporting the listener into a transcendental journey filled with ethereal melodies and hypnotic rhythms creating an introspective sound, Panko, on the other hand, materialized two tracks that catapulted the listener into latin rhythms and frenetic electronic elements and captured the essence of our fast-paced modern times, reflecting the accelerated trend in which we live through. The EP's flow is carefully crafted to keep the listener captivated from start to finish. From the spiritual ambiance of Imanol's tracks to the exhilarating energy of Panko's compositions. While Imanol invites us to embark on a mystical journey, Panko immerses us in an exhilarating panorama of the world. The juxtaposition creates a dynamic listening experience, demonstrating the vast range of emotions and moods electronic music can evoke.

Imanol is always looking for the groove, he’s a digger and loves to find lost songs. In 2018 he mounted his own label U’re Guay Records publishing dozens of emerging artists from around the world opening doors to constantly continue releasing his music for various labels such as Golden Soul Records (GER), Electric Music Foundation (USA), About Disco (BR), Muzic X Press (UY), This is not (IT), Dark mirror (RU), LW Recordings (UK), Jade (FR), Kyma Komplex (MX) among others. U're Guay Vol. 76 is a captivating EP by Imanol that showcases his eclectic creativity. The Montevidean outlet finished last year with “All Remixes Vol. 1”, a bold 25-track compilation featuring some of the hottest Latino acts allied with spot-on contributions from across the pond; and now, it kicks off 2025 with another thrilling collection of gems: The 13-cut VA “PERCS” comes packed with solid works from Alírio & Tuxe, Anastasia Zems, CABE, DJ Karen, Ella De Vuono & Etcetera, Encanto, Franco Galán & Zoras, Glo My Feat. For his contribution to “PERCS”, Imanol invites us for a cosmic trip through his pop culture influences. Using fragments from the famous “Where No Man Has Gone Before” speech of the original 1966-1969 Star Trek science fiction television series, Imanol started working on a way to translate such influences into music, and the result is a frenzied theme brimming with euphoria and nostalgia, starring robust Acid and Electro displays.

The Story  ᓚᘏᗢ  ➜
I. The Door That Breathes Spores

At the rim of the desert stood a seam in the air, hairline and luminous, like a scar that learned to exhale. When it sighed, motes unfurled into the dusk—opal dust and spore‑light that arranged itself into shy constellations. The seam smelled of rain that could not remember where it fell.

Aneleth arrived without footsteps. Their feet left no mark by design; their kind, the Mneme‑walkers, were sworn not to bruise the hours beneath them. Aneleth’s body was a study in glass and vellum: skin the color of quiet dawn, thin enough to show the rivers of gold filament that ran like patient lightning under the surface. Along the throat, a translucent veil fluttered—a gill‑lace that drank aroma and rumor. The eyes were coin‑bright and slow‑turning, with irises that gathered starlight, folded it, and kept it as a kindness for later.

They wore a mantle of mycelial silk grown in moon‑dark gardens, the threads still alive, still remembering the tunnels from which they had been coaxed. On Aneleth’s left wrist slept a ring of living wire—the Thread, a compliant serpent of gold that could smell distance the way others smell smoke.

Aneleth placed an open palm upon the seam. The air learned their shape. Spores swept forward like a soft tide, mapping the fingers, the lifelines, the old scars of vows kept and nearly broken. The seam widened, not as a door does, but as a thought does when it finds its opposite. Hyperfine cracks spread, diverged, and converged again in a lattice that suggested both invitation and correction.

“Let me in,” said Aneleth in the language of mineral patience.

The seam spoke back in fern breath: Come in if you can accept the arithmetic of forgetting.

Aneleth had come for that arithmetic. The Dunes of Liquid Memory waited beyond the seam, and somewhere inside those dunes lay the promise they once made in the Dark Orchard—the promise the desert had taken as collateral and never returned.

They stepped through. The seam stitched itself closed with a surgeon’s certainty, and silence rearranged its furniture to make room.

II. The Glass Dunes and Their Blooming Sigils

The desert was not sand so much as the idea of sand persuaded into matter. Each dune was a slope of congealed recollection, liquefying and resolidifying on its own clock. The grains were translucent and full of tiny occlusions—faces, gestures, half‑remembered weather. When the wind moved, the dunes flowed in slow currents, as if all memory wanted to be water but had first to practice being glass.

APDEXTRA014 is about Social Distancing; this is the title of the four track EP by the newcomer Babsy, the Turkish DJ & Producer based in Barcelona and founder of Gruv Collective, a group of producers and party promoters. He makes his debut on the Apparel Music EXTRA catalogue with a cohesive, groovy and solid EP and the AM’s crew is glad to welcome him to the family. The record kicks off with AMY which is a classy and modern House tune with a catchy bass line that drives through the groove of the track. ANOTHER SESSION keeps the pace high with its dreamy chords, solid beat and the sexy contribution of a beautiful vocal sample by Charlotte Gainsburg. RETRO ROMANTIC follows the musical trail set by the first two with a rich dose of smooth keys and an always solid rhythm section while the closing and title track SOCIAL DISTANCING brings bright harmonies never congealing into patterns and a dialogue between a trumpet and a piano to take us smoothly towards the end of the record.
