Blur Records is proud to present the returning talented DJ and producer Scruscru, and his excellent EP entitled "Just House" including two stunning remixes by the producers Hotmood and Sweet Fruity Brunch.

The first track, "Just House" is an impressive display of groovy vintage house, featuring a distinctive trumpet, pacey drums, and an intense subboom bass that complements the unique chord progression.

The second track is the Mexican producer Hotmood's remix of "Just House" in what is a dazzling example of disco drive, with captivating percussive brush strokes, vox effects, and a seductive bass that perfectly encapsulates the artist's attention to detail and form.

The final track is the outstanding Swiss producer Sweet Fruity Brunch's remix of "Just House" which delivers a brilliant rendition of the original in a sleek jackin' house composition, with a sensational funky fuelled closing segment showcasing the instrumentalist skill in creating complexity.

For our fourteenth release we head to Barcelona and welcome an institution of the city's fast moving electronic scene. Pau Roca has an adaptable attitude to music; deftly turning his hand to house, disco, boogie and electronic elements in a 15 year career that has seen him perform all over Europe. The SS20 EP comprises three original tracks that take influence from deep house, acid, breaks and chilled moments. We are proud to present a new music release from our friend, sound producer and DJ - Maryag.
His "Out There EP" is based on the use of instruments that have already become classics. Maxim used an MPC 1000, a vintage Teac M-09 mixer, and a replica of the iconic Monopoly from Behringer, and the bass parts were recorded using a combination of recorded bass guitar parts and sampling.

This album was inspired by the New York disco and hip-house waves. They turned out to be very close in spirit for our musician. You can hear both warm and dirty lo-fi grooves on the album, as well as melodies that formed the base and foundation. The British electronic scene of the '00s and '10s also had some influence on the making of the album. Experimental synth textures occasionally burst into the tracks, creating a mysterious and quirky atmosphere.

The album turned out to be bright and memorable due to the use of classical instruments and influences from different musical directions. Listen and enjoy the new musical creation!

Ten Fingerz delivers a strong, electronic and funky 3-tracker on his first solo EP «Fingerz Wurk». The record is a blend of the DJ's Chicago, Detroit and Paris influences. The title track is a modern take on the hip-house and acid sounds, with infectious vocals and a funky, modulated bassline. On «Jeune Rave», early Detroit techno-style synth stabs meet an acid-statured loop and thumping drum programming. A tribute to the first techno tracks to hit European raves' dancefloor in the 90s. Finally «Love spell» uses a very bouncy bassline, along with hypnotic vocals and synth loops to build an electronic climax. A DJ's pick of choice to close their set.

NYC house royalty Barbara Tucker and Parisian production sensation Sam Karlson team up for a mega collab on The Disco Express.

Renowned for iconic tracks 'Beautiful People' and 'I Get Lifted', Barbara Tucker has had six No.1 hits on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart in the 1990s and into the 2000s. Flash forward to 2022, and Barbara Tucker pulls out the stops yet again with another soulful house belter Miracles EP. Together in Paris with Sam Karlson, she recorded 'Miracles' and 'Be Yourself'.
