Drizzle and Dreams has a very relaxing and mellow vibe, with soft rain in the background to add texture and depth to the music. It features elements of pianos, acoustic guitars, and basses, along with subtle percussion and atmospheric sound effects to create an immersive and relaxing listening experience.
It has a slow and smooth rhythm, perfect for listening while studying, working or just relaxing. The themes and titles of the songs are related to rain, sleep and tranquility, which adds a coherent thematic element to the entire EP.

Slick French duo Palavas hail from the sun-drenched coast of the South of France, somewhere between Montpellier and Marseille. Taking their name from the Palavas resort that was once the magnificent queen of Mediterranean sandy beaches, their previous releases have been on Toucan Sound and Future Disco.  Their music is an intoxicating blend of nostalgia and cosmic futurism that dazzles discerning dancefloors every weekend with their shimmering solar odyssey on the South of France scene.
 
In July they release their full-length album,  Déesse D'Été’, on the super sexy Marseille imprint Ravanelli Disco Club. The album pays homage to the vibrant and infectious sound of the 80s, blending disco, funk, and new wave with a contemporary twist.  Lead track ‘You Can't Get Away’ is a solid tribute to 80s new wave days. Who better to pump up proceedings with his vibrant space magic than the king of the Norwegian disco scene himself, Prins Thomas.

Hard to believe we’re on volume 5 of the annual Razor-N-Tape Family Affair compilation, but time flies when the RNT fam is having fun! As always, it’s a wide-ranging collection of vibes and grooves from the extended international Razor-N-Tape network. This year’s vinyl sampler includes both label newcomers and veterans across six tracks.
Recloose, Medlar & Daisybelle, Misiu, Saucy Lady, Anoraak, and Marina Trench deliver in their respective signature styles, taking us on a genre-bending tour of sounds. Was going for Disintegration-era Cure vibes with the guitar on this one, but with a bit of a darkwave flavor.  Same setup as usual - FL Studio, Sytrus, FLEX, Kepler, Yamaha MODX, Schecter Evil Twin guitar. There's also a tiny bit of Korg Multi/Poly, which I just started using. Only have very limited time with it, but so far so good, and it reminds me a lot of a Korg Wavestate synth (which is a synth I have used a ton...)

Was resident DJ at the weekly Blast Club in Chester since summer 1988, Quadrant Park Liverpool 90/91 , Sweet Chester , Elevate Bangor   etc etc  .. Now Djing at Electrik Disko every fortnight, and throughout the summer we are in the outside courtyard area in The Commercial Bar Wrexham. Nice sound system and great location ..puurfect.
