@simonhinter is an artist who we have been keeping close tabs on since he dropped his Tired Up Ep on Jimpster's Freerange back in 2020. His output since then has been brilliant including releases with Kerri Chandlers Madhouse label, Quintessentials, Nitegrooves and another outing on Freerange. He's clearly and artist who is held is very high esteem by his peers.

His latest EP see's him jump onto @momentcinetique who are having their own golden run of releases. The resultant EP 'Before Choppa' is very brilliant indeed. A musician, DJ and producer, Monsieur Van Pratt has been making headway in the Nu-Disco scene from his home of Mexico City.

Strongly influenced by 70's disco, 80's funk and jazz music, his production is an amalgamation of these sounds, finely tuned for maximum effect. Four original compositions of disco grooves, sumptuous sax and jazzy keys. Proper!!
