@saintwaxrecords recently opened their account with a super EP from label boss Gledd who is one of the hugely talented pool of Mexican producers ruling the Disco airwaves right now. Turning things up again the label's next EP 'Aguardiente Y Mezcal' is incoming and features two tracks each from 'the-funk-district and @vagabundoclubsocial, two acts we have loads of time for on LV online. As you would expect it's full of underground Latin edged club bumpers.

Russian Indie Dance / Nu Disco and House label Soviett return with the 4th vinyl release of their club-friendly series «Plastinka»! Ranging from 108 to 124 BPM this time, all four tracks are full-length DJ-versions exclusive to this vinyl and never been available before. «Patchouly Indonesiano» by Saint-Petersburg-based Pavel Korzhensky, aka Ksky, is a lively piece of modern analogue electro. Alexander Prosvetov, aka Marco Lazovic from Moscow, delivers an atmospheric tech-house track with a strong retro feeling of the 80s and 90s dance music scene; it emphasizes how deeply Lazovic explores the roots of electronica. Street Choice is a Russian duo of Artyom Vasiliev and Alexander Rodakov; the guys present a classic house production with a humming rhythm section and a memorable piano line on top. Buzz Compass is Andrey Bychenkov and his «Make A Baby» is a perfect laid back start to an evening pre-party with lots of live instruments and no rush. Plastinka 4 is a proper addition to your current vinyl DJ-set or personal listening pleasure!

A new project by Dicky Trisco and JKriv, Sentimental Animals is a celebration of dancing, late night antics, and musical togetherness.

This offering of all-original disco features lead singer of Brooklyn disco outfit Escort belting her heart out, and Robin Lee of Faze Action showing his muso side on guitar, bass and keys duties. Parisian disco don Yuksek turns in a burner of a mix, and on the flip there’s a proto-house inspired Basement Mix as well as another original track, the funky instrumental Loose Rules.

We've just about got over that heartbreaking extra time defeat in the euro finals to Italy and with a new week comes a new show to lift your spirits high!

J Kriv & Dicky Trisco have a new cross Atlantic project titled Sentimental Animals and they mean business. With sounds influenced accross multiple continents, their debut wax release Sentimental Animals Vol 1 leaves us excited at whats coming next from them. Here we feature the explosive dance floor shaker, Track 3.

And we go from animals to monsters to close the show. The Monster Orchestra that is. With John Davis at the helm we sprinkle some Love Magic into your ears to leave you feeling good!

For the second show in a row we cross to South America to hand the airwaves to Johnathon Braverman a.k.a Ladies On Mars for the guestmix. Held in high regard accross the industry, he has released on labels such as Tropical Velvet, Sakura, Midnight Riot, Tropical Disco, Spa in Disco and the list goes on!

Was resident DJ at the weekly Blast Club in Chester since summer 1988, Quadrant Park Liverpool 90/91 , Sweet Chester , Elevate Bangor   etc etc  .. Now Djing at Electrik Disko every fortnight, and throughout the summer we are in the outside courtyard area in The Commercial Bar Wrexham. Nice sound system and great location ..puurfect.
