Haven't heard this one in a long time. AWESOME. And now just 25 listens from reaching 10,000 well-earned listens. Well I'm gonna re-repost it to see if I can help push it over the line my old friend ;)

A hopeful tune about escaping everyday life during pandemic-times. Its catchy melodies and relatable lyrics transport the listener to a more carefree era. 

This song became the most-requested tune in my live-stream shows, and my Twitch followers and fans crowdfunded a recording.

The song first started during pandemic when I was seeing a lot of posts about "Don't Text Your Ex!" and that kind of thing. A lot of people were bored and lonely.

So I wrote this song as a lighthearted take on a slightly toxic breakup and then the conflict of staying away for good.

In the past few years I've been thinking about priorities and realizing that one thing I value highly is peace... peace that comes from what kind of vibes and people I allow into my life. 

Hopefully you can relate... occasionally there is something or someone that you have to let go of, for your own peace and sanity…

So- ALCOHOLISM one the toughest subjects to write about-so I use humor and parody to shine light-although I'm not an alcoholic my self-I do know a lot of professionals .lol-  I think alcoholism touches us all  in some shape of form and we  all hope for redemption for the lives of the victims of this disease  - I use this song to relate the ridiculousness- I'm a firm believer of controlled usage- Cheers *Gary Micheal May
