This is a short piece in the form of a fughetta (a "mini-fugue"-thanks to Antonio Porrino for telling me it's proper name!)). It is the concluding part of a longer piece I posted a while back, but tries to follow a fughal structure more closely than part 1 did. This one opens again with a subject/theme, played alternately in the tonic (D minor) and dominant (A minor) keys by the 4 instruments in turn. Then there's a fairly short 'episode' or 'development' section-much shorter than most of the 18th century fugues I drew from. Finally the subject line is repeated for the final time in the original key. Those beautiful fugues from the 1700s often ended in a major chord in the original (tonic) key as a resolution. In this piece I've ended in a major (add 9) chord in the dominant key because to me it sounded better. Never Never Mind

Hi, it's been two years of grueling physio trying to rewire a damaged brain from two heavy strokes. I am teaching myself to walk again and I've had to learn to play my guitar  from scratch. To cut a long story short, progress is eminent, I am starting to record my new material in April. 

I've renewed the concept and renamed the project to " Cristopher Walken's Grandmother."

A massive thank you to everyone who has sent me words of hope and encouragemnt in this challenging season of my life, it has given me  strength (and still does)  to carry on, you all know who you are. Shine on!
