Harold Stafford Booker II, aka The Captain, was born on August 15, 1994 in Painesville, OH. Coming from a well-balanced Christian family of singers he fell in love with music at an early age. As a young boy he began to take an interest in making loud noises with his hands and the occasional pots and pans. This later on sparked a passion for him in playing the drums. Although he started singing with his sisters since he was in the early stages of life, something always drew him to hip hop. The Captain made his first debut on the rap scene in 2010 where he was featured on a song by one of his friends. Since then his love of the art of creating raps blossomed. In late 2013 after having countless conversations with fellow rapper Devonne Jacobs, aka Young Phenom, he decided that rap was what he wanted to do with his life. An upbeat style and catchy voice allows to capture the attention of listeners almost instantly. With his imagery and use of words and metaphors he is able to paint vivid pictures of what he is saying and able to make people really think about it. In and out of the booth his words and passion of life itself make the people around him want to hear more and more; the reason he was granted the name of The Captain by an old friend. He is looking to inspire as many people as he can with his words to give them the courage to achieve anything they put their minds to.
