Alex was fortunate to grow up in Chicago around numerous musical influences. Although neither of his parents are musically trained, he remembers his English mother driving with ’60s rock on the radio while his Mexican father would jam to all types of Latin grooves. He vividly remembers his father beginning to learn classical guitar and relentlessly practicing. It wasn’t long before Alex also picked up the instrument. With his father’s efforts in mind, he learnt at a young age the importance of dedication. His passion led him to styles as diverse as Hendrix and House, finding worthwhile elements in each.

One of his most influential experiences was a trip to England in the early ’90s. There, Alex found a world-class underground scene and absorbed the music around him, ranging from Drum & Bass to Techno and everything in between. On returning to Chicago, he gravitated to its own underground scene and felt the need to make music. He would endlessly study tracks within mixes and began learning how to use sequencers.

His many influences have driven him to expand his musical range and focus on creating his own tracks. His determination to perfect his craft has led him to work closely with the highly experienced San Francisco producers, Chris Lum and Homero Espinosa of Moulton Music, and Jamie Carter of CarterCo Recording in Chicago. In response to questions about his creative process, Alex says, “I’m in love with turning silence into sound, nothing into something. Hopefully, people will feel that it’s a good something.” Armed with a guitar and a notebook, Alex Castaneda is on a continual quest to give form to the sounds he hears in his mind.

Witnessing the birth of electronic music this duo have grown up listening/DJ ing/ re-mixing & creating dance music for themselves & others, they don’t like being put into a genre & feel that the heading Dance Music Creators is the only one they need because that’s what they do.

Ok you might say they make House/Garage or Jungle Etc. Etc. but they like to leave that up to the listener to decide they just make whatever feels natural in the studio on the day by using knowledge & influences gained from both the past & the present.

HOOLA LOOP is all about choices for the many & not just the few offering dance music fans a variety of flavors without having to search too hard. Added to this is a value for money concept by offering the music buyer a choice of styles to choose from whether they are purchasing a single track/Ep or album.

I HAVE A "LOVE FOR BEATS" PARTICULARLY THE   SOULFUL, JAZZY, DEEP & CLASSIC HOUSE VARIETY.

I have been involved with  the house scene for over 25 years as a DJ, promoter/producer and club manager.
Initially a mixing DJ on vinyl with 1210's but now with Pioneer 1000 MK 3's and CDJ 400's using CD, MP3 and WAV formats.

My musical influences come from all genres to be honest but the SOULFUL Beats send me all gooey, especially if they have male vocals.

Back in the day I had residencies at  (The Mad House, Northampton and Funky Monkey) as well as guesting out around Britain.
I was also the co founder of 'Hung Up' and 'Schmoo' two  regular House nights at our local club in the 90's.
Some of the guests were AM.PM with Simon Dunmore.
H20 with Billie, Michael Procter, Bobby & Steve, to name a few.
There's a few people that have made an impact musically and changed my life, Larry Levan, Tony Humphries, Danny Tenaglia, David Morales, Lil Louie Vega, Kenny Dope Gonzalez, DJ Spen, Miguel Migs, Tom Moulton, Roger Sanchez , Micky More, Bobby D'ambrosio and Kenny Bobien, to name a few, the list is endless.....

I produced a track called ( "YEAH YEAH" ) in 2012 with my cousin Jamie Gittins AKA Spaghetti Legs. A rerub of the old Blak Beat Niks track "Ooohhh" from 1996.

DJ LEX GREEN was born and raised in Munich
and currently resides in Switzerland for some 
years. His first encounter with electronic music 
was in the 90’s, but that was just the beginning 
of a bigger journey without ending. 

LEX presents his Mixes and Tracks on various 
Radio Stations around the World "Resident on: 
Ibiza Live Radio (ES), Radio Beachgrooves (ES), Estacionibizaradio (CO), Digital X Radio (DE), 
Club Sabroso Radio (DO) & Under Blue Radio (AR)" and he also supports Guest Mixes from other Djs on 
his Soundcloud Channel. Lex attended an Advanced Dj course from Ministry of Sound in Switzerland with Teacher Johnathan Dj Tutor (Ellaskins).

Luisen, Dj, producer, remixer and founder of Deponiente Records (2016)
He started as a Turntablism DJ in 1988 at the age of 16, being one of the pioneers in Spain.
In 1990, at the age of 18, he won the first national DJ's award, from that moment on his career shot up accumulating countless performances around the world, being one of the official Djs of Cafe Del Mar World Tour (2018)
It also stands out for being the first DJs in Spain to make their own productions with their Teknika project (1991) for the mythical label "Megabeat"
that gave rise to the famous "Sonido de Valencia" as reflected in the book: "Techno Camina Conmigo: Bandas y productores que lideraron la electrónica nacional(89-93)" of Pascal Ibiza.

Edited productions and remixes with different aliases, for the most important labels in the world such as CBS-EMI-SONY MUSIC-PURPLE MUSIC-NERVOUS RECORDS-MIDNIGHT RIOT to name a few, and currently with his AKA Moogy Bee, he is one of the animators of the Nu Disco Internacional scene and one of the usual in the Top 100 of Traxsource.

UK House DJ since 1995. I started DJ'ing around London, played with legends like Bobby & Steve, Steve Silk Hurley, Grant Nelson, Spoony and loads more. Through those meetings I moved on to play in many more venues including Garage City, Ministry of Sound in London, and Miami Winter Music Conference.
Having never lost the love of the music, I am now back on the decks - although many things have changed, the passion and love still has not.
