It’s been a busy 2014 so far for label head Dubfire. Whilst nothing unusual for the Persian-born producer, with the revival of Deep Dish (alongside Sharam), the release of their new single 'Quincy', the continuation of the SCI+TEC radio show, the release of his much vaunted remix of 'Come' featuring Asia Argento and his relentless global touring schedule, it would be a surprise to find even a slither of studio time for original Dubfire productions…

But find he did and today he unveils EXIT, his new single and collaboration with the first lady of techno, Miss Kittin. The pair have wanted to work together for years now and after a few idea exchanges they managed to sink their teeth into something magical. The strong low-end Dubfire groove is evident once again on EXIT as the pair playfully chop and reverse Kittin's vocals, pushing and withdrawing the bass to allow her sultry vocals to shine. On the flip we're treated to the electrifying wall of sound that is MIDIAN with its all-enveloping bass, pierced by energizing and synapse-searing shocks.

With the build up to the highly anticipated debut album for both Ruede Hagelstein and Watergate Records nearing it's release date, we have put together an advanced release of the original Ruede track 'Soul Dynamic' including some stunning remixes to get you ready.

With the original, Ruede does what he does best and administers a big melodic club hit ripe with canorous shimmers and a warm rolling sub bass bolstered by crisp percussion grooves and a vocal
persistently muttering 'Soul Dynamic'. This alone should be enough, but we didn't stop there.

Up first on remix duties, and without any introduction is the legendary Kenny Larkin. Coming off his massive remix of La Fleur on Watergate last year, he takes the same approach and lays out a long, tracky version of the original, building tension over the twelve minutes with ghostly rhodes riffs and eerie strings. Possibly the heaviest of the all the remixes is from Fur Coat as they provide us with a dark, strobe light infused adaptation packed with huge bass stabs and spectral tones. Finally, we
have another whose name needs no introduction, Douglas Greed. With his version of 'Soul Dynamic' he takes the most playful approach of the three remixes by creating a hypnotic, looping lead laid over earthy percussive lines and a sweltering wash of keys.

No matter what you're looking for, one of these will do the trick. It's not so much which one to play, but which one to play first.

'The Other One' is the first of two EPs from the duo's upcoming long player and with the two carefully selected tracks; 'Pina' and '808 Nirvana', it's exactly what you come to expect from the duo. 

'808 Nirvana' is a white knuckle ride laced with fast paced stabs, shakers and snares while meteoric rises carry you into deep space. 'Pina', aptly titled after the newborn addition to the family, is a bundle of energy. It constantly grows larger and more complex before finally unleashing a fierce, sonic blast that wouldn’t seem out of place on the soundtrack to a Hitchcock film. In perfect Pan-Pot fashion. 

'The Other One' is the perfect teaser ahead of the full album release, with both tracks the epitome of the Pan-Pot sound.
