Craig is a singer-songwriter and keyboardist whose varied mix of songs range from quirky to touching.

I’m a multi-genre music fan exploring the space where technology meets creativity. I use AI tools to generate unique instrumentals and soundscapes, then write my own lyrics to give each piece a personal voice. My music blends elements from across genres from electronic,dance,synthwave,metal and beyond aiming to push the boundaries of what music can be in the digital age.

Somewhere I read that SoundCloud is the DIY of the music world.  Very true for most of us wannabe (famous) musicians.  For those who were lucky enough to spend years in an actual sound studio, maybe this is a slam dunk. For the rest of us, it's like being the Wright brothers before they fully understood the science behind aerodynamics much less get a machine to fly.

I have learned a lot in 2018 thru 2019 while playing at small, local venues.  It's a lot easier to sit back in a "recording studio".  I do put that in quotes since, for me, this is just a couple of microphones connected to a DAW which is connected to a computer with some multi-track software and some free plugins to enhance the finished product.  I believe there are about 5 unique disciplines to learn which include: playing an instrument, singing, doing both together, using a microphone, connecting with the audience.  I have much more respect for stage performers now, especially solo artists. Now, if one adds the discipline of recording engineer, well then, you have a well rounded musical background. 

I do hope that you enjoy some of my tunes.  I'm always happy to hear from listeners who have something meaningful to share, even when it is not particularly flattering or in someway odd.  I'll even try to answer any questions you may have.  Remember that you are never too old nor too young to create and share your music and/or share your knowledge.

am a professional UK based  session guitarist and songwriter working in TV where my clients include Primark, Flora, Touchnote, Pampers, Wealth Dragons, Horrid Henry, and the BBC. I also work with artists and I have  been fortunate to share stage and studio with Maram Hassler, Barbara Zanetti, T’Pau, Liv Austen, Dave Berry, Mike Pender, Leo Kelly-Gee, Dave Dee,Leanne Mitchell(Winner The Voice 2012)Jamie Johnson (Finalist The Voice 2014) Rachel Cardy, Brian Pool, Mike D’Abo, The Supremes,Freak Power, and many others. Aside from my work as a guitar player I am also  a songwriter and one of my songs “Butterfly” was featured on the closing credits of the zombie horror PC game  Paradigm Shift.

Former member of NYC’s own Circus of Power (Columbia Records, RCA Records..)I am both excited and anxious to get back out there to promote last year's record, “Beer, Picks & Old Records". Gritty sounds & colorful stories of America, equal parts Country, Punk, Blues & Pop.  13 tunes about losers, lovers, thrill seekers & troublemakers. Working on a new record for 2021; many of those songs are included here with new ones added weekly.

Along with my years with Circus of Power I was with NY Loose , The Silos and the punk/pop band Screaming Sneakers. Having  worked with such diverse artists as Guns N’ Roses, Gravity Kills and New Zealand’s Steph Casey, you might say dues have been paid and then some.

Prolific musician, author, photographer and oddity.  With influences ranging from the lofi pop of Guided by Voices, the gothic melodrama of Nick Cave, the glam of Bowie and the nakedness of Iggy Pop - this is Marc Freak.  Former frontman of Freak Circus and Dead Joe.  An experiment in DIY and lofi.  The odd bum note here, the even odder bum note there.  But with art do we care?
