Look the bottom line is that Ello raised venture capital. The investors are looking for a return on their investment, so they're going to have to figure out a business model. So the question becomes, if they're not going to sell your info to advertisers, are they going to charge a fee to use the service? Now look they may come up with something totally new and innovative, and God bless Ello if they do. I'm rooting for everybody all the time.

My big thing is that **people don't care if you're selling their data**. We actually want targeted ads. When I'm in the market for another pair of Nikes, I WANT to see ads for them. Now there are those of you who disagree, but the data shows it. We'll take them when they go from ads to content. 

So here's the thing:

1. I think the way Ello is financially structured has vulnerabilities.
2. This has happened before with things like Diaspora. It didn't work.
3. I'm not in love with the actual product, but I'm glad they're moving and innovating.

I'm not Nostradamus. I like to make my call when I actually see something happening, and so I think it's too early to say that, but my intuition says they're going to eventually charge, which is going to turn a lot of users off.

There is something that is rarely talked about in the business world and I want to start building more attention for it.

That thing is self-awareness.

I’m upset that the narrative these days is that everyone needs to be number one, own a company, be in charge. A lot of people are going to lose that way.

Self-awareness allows people to recognize what things they do best so they can then go hard on those aspects of their life. It also helps you accept your weaknesses.

What works for one person doesn’t work for everyone. I want people to learn to be at peace with themselves, to understand what they can offer, because everyone’s got something. The key, however, is learning how to find it.

Self-awareness can help you do that.

Self-awareness is being able to accept your weaknesses while focusing all of your attention on your strengths.

The moment you decide to accept your shortcomings and bet entirely on your strengths, things will change. Trust me.

One HUGE point we made here toward the fitness industry was having the self-awarness to not just pedal products for a quick buck. Do you really want to be selling things that you don't believe in to your friends and family? Leaving a legacy is what the goal is here. In everything I do, I want to leave behind a MASSIVE legacy of myself and what I created. Focus on the number of people that will come to your funeral, not on the number in the bank.
