With recent gigs at Ministry of Sound, Gigalum,Inigo and International Sets in Australia, Crete and Germany Ben has been pumping out his driving blend of high energy uplifting house to clubbers around the globe with great acclaim. With solo productions (ProGression, Before Dawn, Kish's Journey) and collaborations with ground breaking producers Lee Howe, Hilton Caswell, Paul Freegard, MPC, TobieAllen, Charlie Bradley, Baz Sanders (Melon Berry, Mumbo Jumbo, Get Involved, Feel I feel) and projects with Ben’s original icons James Lawson and Nick Sentience all under way and with plenty more in the pipeline 2012 is set to be a big year for Ben. Now working under the production name ‘ZenGroove’ and as one half of the hugely anticipated 'Zen Fuzion' project (with Lee Howe) Ben is aiming for new heights with productions scheduled for release on SQ music, Malfunktion and Sole Defiance records with plenty more projects in the pipeline.
Ben is delighted to announce a new residency for the innovative and ever popular SQ music Ben/ZenGroove is certainly one to watch in 2012. I started making bedroom mixes in 1983 with a MAC and a double tape deck.
In 1993 I was on the radio, broadcasting to Nottingham for 6 years as DJ Lazy.
I started playing Nottingham clubs in 1994 and set up a night called Twist.
In 2004 I teamed up with El Carlos and created Jump Shake Rattle & Roll in Birmingham.

I play old skool rave and hardcore, jungle and drum n bass,
techno and acid, deep and classic house, hip hop and electro.

I don’t know a lot about music but I know what I like 🎵
