Harmony Haven beat challenge

We are very excited to announce the Harmony Haven beat challenge which is designed to inspire all artists participating to try out new styles and to add new elements to their music. The end goal? Achieve triumph as the winner!

1st Place: $75 gift card
2nd Place: $25 gift card
*Gift cards will be for an online music store such as musicians friend or sweetwater (depending on what is available in your region)

The challenge will be as follows:
All artists will be given a set amount of time to design a beat
which cannot surpass 2 minutes in length, with a minimum length of 1 minute.

The beat must be made using the samples provided in the Harmony Haven sample pack, which have all been uniquely created for this challenge by the Harmony Haven crew.

All artists must use ONE loop and at least FOUR one shots from the folders provided.

Artists may add whatever else to their track they wish. Add the spice 😉

Use whichever one-shots and loops you'd like, and as many as you want!
The samples used MUST be recognizable (this does not mean you cannot mix em / stretch em / FX em but make sure they can be noticed)
The beat can be in whatever genre the artist wishes
All beats may include vocals as long as they are either sample cleared, original, or from the pack

All beats must be submitted by Jan 23 to harmonyhaven2018@gmail.com. You may also submit to Murkish, Huken or Kaleidokitty via twitter, instagram or discord DMs.
Submit using a Soundcloud private link with DOWNLOAD ENABLED.
The beats will then all be listened to by a guest to the Haven, Yama, who will decide the winner alongside Nick Neutronz, rexu and myself.

cleaning the slate. these are a collection of tracks I made over the last 2 years, some finished, some unfinished, that will serve as a symbolic reference point to a new "era" of my music and whatever it is i've been doing online with this stuff for the last 10 years.

I will be back eventually with what I would hope would be my first "proper" album, whatever that means. when it will be, I don't know. maybe it'll eventually exist or maybe i'll just keep uploading whatever shit i make and calling it an album, end of the day its all music. for now, feel free to enjoy the 500+ tracks I've uploaded over the last 10 years. In the wise words of lil ugly mane, C U SOON! If you're reading this and give even the slightest damn about my music, I LOVE YOU!!
