We're stoked to have Will AKA Rhythmwerx/Fortsetzen Agency and Acid night founder back again now he's over in the UK.  Will's been on the case since Manchester days promoting/playing/partying all the way over to Asia where he ran some quality parties out in Shanghai and Osaka among others, and is now here in the UK again managing the likes of incredible producer/DJs Not even noticed and Jozef K and putting on yet more Acid parties.  
He's back on the Gated pod for a tough workout of mainly Acid, Techno and breakbeats. Welcome back to the Gated podcast just in time for Autumn. 
This time we have a real treat for you with our guest Mark Shephard.
Mark honed his DJ skills in the clubs and basements of Brooklyn before relocating to Tokyo in 2022. Currently he was an organizer of the Acid Gakkou party in Shibuya, frequent guest DJ at Circus Tokyo for the Ensite series of parties, and performed live regularly in Tokyo with hardware drum machines and synthesizers. He’s now established himself in a move to Berlin alongside partner and previous esteemed guest on the Gated Pod, MuHe.
We grabbed Mark for a little bit of a catchup and thoughts behind the mix.

“I’ve been getting settled in Berlin these past months, really enjoying running in the abundant parks and getting some crash German education. Music wise, I’m very into electro and acid house recently, particularly the new releases from Tom Carruthers and Legowelt on L.I.E.S. and from Ninechecker on brokntoys. My idea for this podcast was to play with different broken rhythms at a wide spread of tempos, with some recurring IDM melancholy in the chords and melodies. Cheers!”

This week we welcome Will A from the party 'Rhythmwerx' A regular night here at Ebloc and a night that is always super fun, full of happy faces and plenty of outlandish dance moves.  Founder and head honcho of the acid themed night steps up for just under 1.5 hours of resonance filled acid tweakers as well as some bumpy electro that you'll struggle not to move to.  This one's a mega listen and we're super happy to get WIl on the podcast, get stuck in and engaged.

"It's been an absolute pleasure putting this mix together for the Eastern Bloc podcast. I tried to blend some old classic records in with some newer sounds I've been digging and playing out recently. Everything from deeper to jackin' house, electro, breaks and of course plenty of Acid. I tried to ease into the mix which tends to be my approach when recording sets, building the the tempo toward the end, whilst also giving you an idea of some of the tunes you'll likely to hear at my night Rhythmwerx. Welcome to the end of year round up from Node!
