Ne cherchez pas de Prince Charmant dans l’univers de Pekka, vous n’en trouverez pas ! Cette jeune femme martiniquaise écrit, compose et interprète ses chansons avec un humour et une autodérision à toute épreuve ! 
Pekka est née en Martinique. Dans sa musique résonnent ses inspirations pop (Mathieu Boogaerts, Lily Allen…), subtilement saupoudrées des sonorités caribéennes de son enfance (Harry Belafonte, Jocelyne Béroard…). Sur des mélodies pétillantes et accrocheuses, Pekka parle de l’intime, de l’amour, du quotidien. Ses textes, en français, malicieux et faussement innocents, relativisent et s’émerveillent de la vie sentimentale des femmes de trente ans. Un véritable marathon ! 
Fin 2015, deux chansons de Pekka sont parues sur la compilation Créole Pop du label B Caribbean. 
Depuis, elle travaille avec Julien Chirol (Cabadzi, Lou Marco, Le Sacre du Tympan…) à la réalisation de son premier album. Son premier EP 6 titres est prévu pour le 31 mai 2018.
