South Africa's Dirkie Coetzee and Namibia's Pierre Pienaar are not only great friends but also musical brothers and are about to perform a joint Open-to-Close at Dirkie's club night We Are Trance in Johannesburg at time of writing! They share a love of driving and uplifting trance music, so this collaboration is exactly what you'd expect and hope for - soaring melodies, pounding beats and plenty of euphoria. In case you were wondering, the title is a Fijian word that means 'to bring life' or 'to bring fire'.

Talla 2XLC is an expert on reworking trance classics and bring them up to date for the new generation of trance lovers. His brand new Technoclub Retro release is his collaboration with DJ Buzz for the seminal track Whales. The original track released on Poison records back in 1998 was co-produced by the legendary Torsten Stenzel who is behind countless trance classics. Talla 2XLC adds his pounding tough metallic kick, rough energetic driving basslines and thunderous percussion while on top at the first half he teases us with short extracts of the unforgettable melody. The breakdown is long and atmospheric with sea waves, warm airy pads, orchestral strings and whales cry sound effects that considered to be deeply therapeutic for the troubled human souls to listen and relax for a while until Talla 2XLC unleashes the memorable riff all over the place that still evokes so much emotion and captures our imagination. It’s definitely one of those melodies that easily carry you away without any effort and make you really happy and optimistic even if you feel that nothing in your life is going as you wish to be. The perfect escape within an ocean of sound waves is the perfect remedy to uplift your spirit and feel the joy of music by being peaceful and full of love and care for each other. After a summer stay in Europe, Markus Schulz headed back home to Miami this week to begin preparations for the remainder of 2024, and the first port of call was a studio session for Global DJ Broadcast. His Club Mix of Till We Fade, featuring Emma Hewitt, has been an exclusive in his livesets throughout 2024, and will be released as a full single this Friday. It's included in the show, as well as a pair of In Search of Sunrise 20 compilation showcases from Airscape and Super8 & Tab; along with new singles from Cosmic Gate, BLR, Layton Giordani and ALAT. In the second hour, Mike EFEX joins for the guestmix, ahead of the release of his new single on Coldharbour Black, Malfunction.

A doubleheader awaits Markus in the clubs this weekend, starting Friday at the Ember Music Hall in Richmond Virginia, as well as the Music Stick in Detroit Michigan on Saturday.

Already demonstrating his anthemic side, from the melodic Starlight to the brazen Powerball, the Lithuanian has quickly become an ever-reliable source of quality, and particularly present through Markus Schulz's live and radio platforms. 

Specifically earmarked by Markus to contribute towards the In Bloom EP; Anske's melodies dovetail impressively with Victoriya's calm and chilling vocals. And as spring slowly becomes summer, we hope the affection for Love Won't End will continue for a while yet.
