JP was born in Buenos Aires and has had a lifelong connection to music, starting out by playing instruments such as the piano and guitar at a young age. He eventually discovered the electronic music scene and has been hooked ever since, drawing inspiration from artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Makebo, Volen Sentir, Mariano Mellino, and Nicolas Rada. JP has had the opportunity to perform in countries all over the world, including UAE, Sri Lanka, Buenos Aires, Spain, and Thailand.

About Artist:
VLKN is a special storyteller from other side of the world.
Istanbul-based VLKN (aka Volkan) first got into electronic music as a teenager. In 2003, he first got behind the decks, and still prefers spinning vinyl to this day. His passion for music leads him inevitably to the production side, with his 2021 EP “Senses” released on schallmauer_records. In addition to numerous guest mix invitations, VLKN curates an excellent regular SoundCloud podcast, “Analog Sessions”. On his podcasts on Soundcloud you can see that VLKN is a storyteller, but the story is in the form of music. You can feel the book changing pages and the bpm getting on the dance floor. There is a happing ending and all that, so the desire to hear him playing more and more is absolute. Enjoy! 💟

Welcome back to the wonderful world of Future Existence!! After a magical summer of good times, I am proud to present Episode 5 for 2023. This mix was inspired by hearing Joseph Ray's, Changing Lanes at high volume (of course!!) on one of many road trips through the forest world of Canada. It just had to be the opener to my next mix & set the tone for a  deep & progressive sound from start to finish. Marçal Prats is a newcomer Dj and producer. Originally from Barcelona, he is based in London following his endless aim to achieve new creative challenges. In addition to his productions and mixes, he is an established graphic designer and enthusiast photographer.

In July 2023, Marçal released his latest production, 'Fascinated' paying homage to the iconic 1987 freestyle disco hit by Company B. Marçal infused "Fascinated" with a modern twist, delivering a captivating dance anthem that will transport you to the golden era of dance music. In 2002, Marçal Prats released in Barcelona his first techno-house remix of London singer and actress Linda John-Pierre's song 'Night People' by The Cat & Mr Cool. 

Marçal got into electronic music in the 80s, fascinated by High-Energy, Italo-Dance, and its hypnotic arpeggiated baselines. He was soon seduced by the birth of House Music and the crunchy 303 analogue sounds of Acid-House. In the mid-90s, during his first visit to London, he was again seduced by Drum&Bass, Big Beat, and IDM. In the first half of the 2000s, Deep Progressive House became his favourite electronic choice. Marçal continues combining his role as a designer with his devotion to music. As he works on new productions, he has released a series of DJ mixes where he brings together the tracks that have influenced him since the turn of the century.
