Our third release on Heroic Hearts is by the talented ando - a 17 year old from Canada. He’s already developed a signature sound, as evident by his previous releases. It’s also a sound that carries into “Snacks” with a light, bouncing carnival-esque production that combines silky melodies with sampled foley sounds, massive synth, and subtle sprinkles of cheer here and there. 

Topping it all off is his drum line, which is not complicated but somehow seems to match the vibe of the song perfectly - simple drums, claps, and hats underscoring a moving synth line and arpeggiated square-synth waves. One sound in particular sticks out among the rest; that of someone chomping down on what sounds like a handful of chips. When listening to “Snacks”, we can’t help but feel hungry; hungry for food, but also for more ando. We hope you do too!
