When you think about it, astro navigation is quite incredible.  Somehow, almanacs have been produced that enable you to fix your position accurately based on the position of stars and planets light years away!  Fortunately, unless there are lots of clouds, stars are easily spotted.  The task is then one of identification, measuring and plotting.  Today’s #MusicalMinute evokes a view of the universe. Regular listeners will know that I like to experiment with numbers in many ways; frequencies, probability, chance and cycles — they’re even key to defining pitch-class sets. Hidden Treats (Kinder Finders OST)

Today’s #MusicalMinute sees us returning to the idea of ambient minimalism.  I have to admit that some of the rhythms could well be extremely tricky to play in an orchestral setting; reminiscent of John Adams, Steve Reich and Philip Glass.  There is still a lot of research to carry out before I begin laying out the plan for 2026 — like today’s track, there are quite a few moving parts.  What do you think?
