After a recent morning run we saw the frost melting under the Sunrise.

Sunrise Frost

A haunting and evocative piece with a deep, resonant bass line  and complex layers of Rhodes, percussion, and synths. The musicians build tension throughout the song, creating a sense of restrained drama that is only fully released in the final moments. Despite its complexity, the track maintains a sense of restraint throughout. The musicians never fully let loose, always holding something back and keeping the song on a tight leash.

once upon a time
there was a fisherman who lived happily
never crossed his mind that he was 
owned by those who’d come to claim his sea

they tapped into his spine, made him
join the choir of "oh, I believe"
he was still kind 
but now his star would take a dive rapidly...

there never was a simpler man
on a simple trip abroad
that simply got completely out of hand 
and then a lot of people got hurt...

his trusty rifle had become his wing
he soared above the wounded and the dead
and evenings he would sing
“oi wa e-eeh, what a storm this has been!”

once upon a time 
there was a fisherman who lived merrily
never realized his card was drawn
by some poorly tuned machinery

it took over his mind, made him
join their murals of firm make believe
he was still kind
but now his body count weighed heavily...

there never was a simpler tale
than the one he almost told to his daughter
of fighting demons on his way home from hell
and some demons had to be killed...

his fishing boat was where he hid the vials
between bottles of cheap escape
and evenings he would howl
“oi wa e-eeh, what a storm this has been!”

there once was a fisherman thrust upon time
he felt honored to fight
to preserve his way of life by the sea
should he have known 
that he was the storm
when he sang his long oi wa e-eeh’s?

Dirty old town,
it's hard on your feet as you wander around in the night.
Don't get down,  
but no one is out there, just looking for you, that's all right. 
You might be pretty. 
But that shit won't help here you know.
You've gotta go.
Inside we're all ugly,
and a few years of drinking will show. 
To those in the know. 

As the plastic bag catches the breeze from the seaside.
Some men just seem to do alright. 
The drunks on the sofas are nursing a pint, until they settle down for the night. 
You're still running.
But there's no one to catch you you know.
You just fall.
It keeps on coming.
One day you'll be running it all. 
Just take the call. 

Oh the foam from the seas, and the salt on the breeze gives away.
Dead end town. (x2) 

All your money, 
won't fill up the holes in your soul though you wrapped them up tight.
You're still drinking, 
but that's better than some who were caught by the brown bang to rights.
Still out hunting,
fact he's dressed up and ready to go. 
Where's the show?
Summer loving,
the winters are much harder though.
Where's the snow? 

As the fog from the sea rolls up through the dead streets and just blocks out the midsummer Sun,
and a girl from your school walks past looking about 50 with her little oik of a son. 
She's still pretty,
but there's something that's empty inside,
behind her eyes.
There's always pity,
It's the last thing remaining that glows.

This is the principal soundcloud channel for original one-man music by gd&themultitracks.  Mainly instrumental, the music was home-recorded in stroud, england using hardware synths & instruments and Audacity community software for editing and mixing the individual multitracks.
