Contemporary Music Victoria Inc. (Music Victoria) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation and the state peak body for contemporary music.  It represents musicians, venues, music businesses and professionals, and music lovers across the contemporary Victorian music community.  Music Victoria provides advocacy on behalf of the music sector, actively supports the development of the Victorian music community, and celebrates and promotes Victorian music.

Casey Jane is a Trip-Hop singer/songwriter and producer from the tropical north of Australia. Casey Jane’s sound is a mixture of old school blues, jazz and soul melodies, down-tempo hip hop beats and ambient electronic chords. Casey Jane loves to make music people can connect and relax too.

Casey’s roots are embedded in Jazz and Blues, her influences span over the last 6 decades and include Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra to Erykah Badu, Dallas Green, and Tame Impala. These mixtures of different influences have made her easy listening sound unique and engaging.

With the independent release of her singles “Mother Mary”,“Seasons” and “Waiting” in 2015, she has grown audiences and attracted the attention of local radio stations and “6Towns Radio” in the United Kingdom. Her debut EP will be released later this year. 

Casey Jane spends her days studying music at Collarts in Melbourne, and her weekends working for a charity as a children's entertainer at The Royal Children's Hospital. Its through this job that she re discovered her love for performing and connecting with others and inspires her to keep creating.

Having a performance background in theatre and cabaret Casey Jane brings these skills to the stage and creates a memorable and entertaining performance. Incorporating live and electronic elements, Casey Jane’s live shows are not to be missed.

HAZEL is the heart and soul of the band. The lead vocalist and song writer, she weaves her special kind of magic through melody and lyric. She has shared the stage with some of Australia's most renowned musicians such as Mick Thomas, Justin Brady, Freya Josephine Hollick, Delsinki, Mick Thomas, Ella Hooper, Charm of Finches, Weeping Willows, Brooke Taylor, Karise Eden, Fanny Lumsden, Ella & Sienna and many more.
