Sacra Risacca is a sound design work that served as ambience and companion to Resi Girardello's copper structure art piece depicting the world wide famous San Marco's church. The sculpture aimed at depicting both the majestic beauty of the medieval church and its uncertain future due to Venice's ties to climate change. The sound design piece aims at depicting the surreal and misty ambience that's ever present all around the city and, at the same time, the foggy future that awaits Venice if we don't act briskly.

The work was first exhibited at Magazzini del Sale 3 during the Stelle e Viaggi exhibition that took place throughout November 2021.
