"4 Venetian Soundscapes" is a set of four sound objects whose purpose is to evoke in the listener the typical sounds of Venice, making them travel during various times of the day, spanning the inner areas of the island to the Zattere coast. Not only that: this project simultaneously takes inspiration from the practice of Dada drift, Surrealism, Situationist artists and, last but not least, from the most famous project by R. Murray Schafer: the
World Soundscape Project (WSP). The purposes of this project are primarily archiving and education, but also to create an aesthetically pleasing product.
