DHN is a duo formed by brothers Brian and Sean Fasano, whose shared passion for electronic music begins inside their childhood home. Growing up under the influence of their father, Gabry Fasano, a pioneer of Italy’s ’90s techno scene, Brian and Sean were immersed in stories from the memorable techno society of that era.

Those formative years instilled in them a deep respect for techno’s roots while encouraging a fearless curiosity for fresh sounds. They firmly believe that every sound has its own time and place, as a result their music ranges from slow and soft dubby sounds, to driving and hypnotic techno.

Beyond their work as DHN, Brian and Sean are also the founders and organizers of Piuma, a multidisciplinary project that merges music, nature, and technology to create immersive, communal experiences.

Hi, this track is from my 19-th album of experimental ambient music where I composed many of my own recorded sounds and combined them with played electronic sounds. Thus making very rich, textural, atmospheric and alive journeys with the sound. So I called this album "Aliveness" to summerize the whole creative process and pure energy of consciousness behind it.
So for the rich and subtile textures - I recommend to listen with your best devices for ambient music.

A sound bath for rest. Lie or sit back, close down your eyes and unwind for 30 minutes...

Enjoy the melodic ripples of Longclough Brook, a river that sweeps through the historic Peak District town of Glossop. 

We begin and end with a tingsha bell, as used in meditation to bookmark our signal to switch off, and later - reconnect.

This soundscapes draws upon the solfeggio frequency method, incorporating the tone of 174Hz associated with reducing pain and tension.

This tone evolves into binaural beats to stimulate alpha and theta brainwave activity - lower levels of brain activity, most associated with the flow state, encouraging creative insights and inducing a dreamlike state.

Did you know just 15 minutes of time spent in this lower, slower level of deep meditation - known as the theta state - can replenish your potassium and sodium stores? That’s the good stuff that replenishes our energy by helping fight fatigue in those post-lunch afternoon slumps...Better than a cup of coffee!

Sound meditation is an opportunity to physically reconnect to our bodies - to listen, to notice and acknowledge what it is we need in that very moment.

You don't have to be sitting in the lotus position, with your hands held in a mudra, like a monk. Find a position that is comfortable to you, and simply...unwind...
