It's a sonic answer to the haiku that I wrote 15 years ago:

Now I state that treevolution is the only chance for trees to fly with the birds.

For the third release on our label, we welcome London-based Einerlei. In his EP for Ebbs & Flows, 'The Doors Of Perception', Einerlei leans - in an arguably more overt manner than in his previous work - into influences from his home country, the UK. Seeking to finely balance the implied with the obvious, he utilises staple grooves and flavours from the worlds of dubstep, drum and bass, and footwork, morphing them into a varied collection of tracks underpinned by introspective textural layering, cinematic synthesis, and hypnotic pulsations. Moments of subversive and playful irony flourish within an otherwise reflective body of work.

Meanwhile, Pianeti Sintetici proved to be an obvious choice of remixer, owing to the thoughtful and divinely subtle incorporation of UK-inspired motifs littered throughout his music.

"Drift Theory Aesthetic" moves through the liminal space between presence and absence — the subtle threshold where identity thins, memory loosens, and the self becomes a peripheral outline. Each track traces a different stage of this internal drift: the first micro‑departures of attention, the weightless suspension of disconnection, and the fragile, friction‑filled return to embodiment.

On Chitra Records, Zen Lemon reveals a beautifully darker and more densely textured side of his work. His ambient language deepens into something weightier — an atmosphere thick with shadow, pressure, and slow‑moving emotional gravity. Rather than reaching for brightness, the album builds an enveloping world where heaviness becomes strangely comforting.

The music mirrors the overwhelming pace of contemporary life, yet transforms that intensity into a space of immersion and release. "Drift Theory Aesthetic" invites listeners to sink into its depth, to move through its dense contours, and to find a quiet sense of refuge within the weight — a sonic reflection of how we drift, return, and continually renegotiate what it means to feel present.

Nestled in the United Kingdom, Zen Lemon, quietly explores the realm of sound art. His compositions delicately blend electronics, drones, and organic textures, resulting in humble yet captivating pieces of minimal and abstract ambience.
